In 2014, he began turning that love into a profession in landscaping. His years working with a landscaping business in Bellingham was when he first learned to install hardscapes and softscapes, and there discovered he had a natural knack for the work.
As his skills continued to increase, he realized there was one big thing missing with working for someone else. That big thing was spending time with his wife and children. With this realization, he knew it was time to go into business for himself. Jose founded Hardscape & Landscape Construction in 2017.

We decided it was time to remove our old asphalt driveway and replace with paver stones. We had several quotes and they were all within the same price range. However, after seeing the great job they did for a neighbor we decided to use Jose and his team. It was the best decision we made as they were always on time, courteous, fun to work with and finished the project on time and on budget. Would not hesitate to recommend Jose for any of your landscaping needs.

Jose and crew did a fabulous makeover on our new house side and back yards. After removing tons of bark mulch, they built a 35’x20’ stone patio out of Allen Block and stone. They built stone steps to connect side yard to lower yard. They then built a “living driveway” using grass pavers for my sailboat. Finally, they put down new sod on back and side yards. I highly recommend them for your hardscaping and landscaping needs.

Jose and crew did a wonderful job. I tasked them with a concrete block fence that they had never done before. They followed directions well and installed everything to my satisfaction. They were on time, on schedule, neat, efficient and a pleasure to work with. Would definitely use them again and have recommended them to neighbors. I wish I could add pictures.

Jose and his team did a wonderful job of building a beautiful rock wall, leveling a side yard, along with old sod removal and new sod installation. They showed up on time and cleaned up the site at the end of the day. It was a great experience and I would not only use this company again for work in my yard but would recommend them as well.
