Spent 9 weeks in a hospital in Illinois fighting for my life because of this company. EVERYONE SHOULD RUN.... RUN I SAY. Mike Chizek is the rudest person I have ever met. Don't recommend this company to anyone. They steal from their employees, and everything is the drivers fault. They do not accept responsibility for their own actions..... just saying.

I read all the negative reviews. I accepted the job offer anyway. My experience here as a driver is nothing like the reviews. Got my governor bumped up after 3 or 4 months. Never had a problem with payroll. Never had a problem getting miles. The one time I had an eqipment issue not immediately seen to was not Chizek's fault (was on the road & Stoops was slow). I came here ready to work and haven't been disappointed.

Chizek Transport is not a good company to work for. The owner charges drivers for anything and everything. He withholds pay from not only drivers, but office staff after they quit. The company could be successful if there was someone who knew ANYTHING about running a business in charge. The safety team is trying to create a new culture and change how the company is viewed, but as long as the company is known as Chizek Transport and the Chizek family is actively involved in the day to day operations of the company, it will never be a company that is known for good things, nor will it be a company

On April 27th around 7:35 one of their trucks was driving out of Marshfield, WI on hwy 13 towards Spencer and was coming up really fast behind me. This is a 45 zone and he was doing over 55. I went to moved to the other lane as he swerved into it also. Then he immediately swerved back. There was other traffic around and he could have caused an accident. As we headed down hwy 13 towards Spencer he would fly up on my butt and then back off. He did this repeatedly until Karau Ave where i turned off. He sped off. Very dangerous driving, he should not be allowed to drive so recklessly.

Just saw one of your truck drivers in Charleston WV at the pilot acting all strange in the gas station wondering back and forth through the isles and then bought an empty cup with ice and bought 3 tall boy alcoholic drinks. He pulled away and got on 64W. Can kill someone drinking and driving! Didn’t seem like he was in the right state of mind to drive. Notified the police.

I have never written a review before. This place is horrible they will not pay you. Their insurance isn't even real it's fake they pocket the premiums. If the company owned truck breaks..no joke they will charge you for the repairs. Making .26 cents a mile 😬 I did one regional load and returned the truck and ran away. Seriously work at McDonald's before this.
