Bargain Office Equipment was founded in 1980 under Fotec, when we serviced the drafting job shops of Metro Detroit. We sold everything a drafting shop would need, from blueprint paper to specialized 100mm grid stylus mylar. We also became heavily involved with used drafting equipment, such as drafting tables, blueprint machines, flat files, drafting machines, potters, layout tables, and more.
We made the decision to switch gears from the drafting space to the office furniture space as the manual drafting world started becoming more digitized. We then realized we would require a much larger space compared to what we previously needed. Now we are on our third building since making that industry switch, which is a testament to the growth that we have experienced in the market.

I love my new chair but I definitely had some issues. One, I had to be on top of the rep to deliver the chair in the week timeline promised. It was only after I paid in full that the rep tried to add an additional week to the timeline. Two, the left arm did not adjust when I got home. Through some Googling I found how to take the chair somewhat apart and fix the left arm rest. Three, the areas that were repainted we not painted very well. All stuff I could fix on my own just a little disappointed that I had to do all that. I really wanted to give this 5 stars.

Placed an order for a desk online. 4 Days later called to see what was going on because I never received a reply. I was told my request was never received. I decided to place the order over the phone I told the man I would be using my Trade First account to complete the purchase he told me the price would be different then advertised. I expected there would be a difference but the price was double. Needing the desk quickly I agreed to the cost. Paul told me the desk would be ordered and delivered that coming friday, well friday came and went. I had to call and ask what was going on and every time
