Services
Bedford Periodontal and Dental Implant Care is a specialty practice dedicated both to the prevention and treatment of gum disease, as well as to the replacement of missing or hopeless teeth with dental implants. By addressing these dental needs our goal is to maintain and restore your smile while enhancing your overall health and well-being.
Dr. Cynthia Tsamtsouris (pronounced "Sam-Suris") finds great satisfaction knowing that every day she is impacting the lives of her patients. Her passion for dentistry and patient care grew out of her upbringing in a household of doctors - her father an anesthesiologist and mother a pediatric dentist.
Dental implants are a great way to replace missing teeth and also provide a fixed solution to having removable partial or complete dentures. Implants provide excellent support and stability for these dental appliances. Dental implants are artificial roots and teeth (usually titanium) that are surgically placed into the upper or lower jaw bone by a dentist or Periodontist - a specialist of the gums and supporting bone.
It only takes twenty four hours for plaque that is not removed from your teeth to turn into calculus (tartar)! Daily home cleaning helps control plaque and tartar formation, but those hard to reach areas will always need special attention. Once your periodontal treatment has been completed, your dentist and dental hygienist will recommend that you have regular maintenance cleanings (periodontal cleanings), usually four times a year.
Ridge augmentation is an effective procedure for treating deformities in the upper and lower jaws. These deformities can occur as a result of periodontal disease, trauma, injury, wearing dentures, or developmental problems. Such defects can leave insufficient bone for the placement of dental implants and an additional unattractive indentation in the jaw line adjacent to the missing teeth.

The doctor is super professional! Answer all your questions. The office is super clean and works with quality products. But what impressed me most is that the doctor himself calls his patients on his cell phone. He called me, and it's a very nice and professional detail of you. The entire team of assistants is super and their assistant held me by my hand and always stood by my side in my procedure. In fact, the human heat and professionalism of these professionals exceed expectations. Thank you so much!!

I never write reviews, but I am very impressed with Dr Tsamtsouris 's HONESTY. Honest dentists are hard to come by. I was referred to Dr T
by my dentist who told me I needed an implant on my tooth . He told me that my tooth had a big crack in it. After reviewing my x rays and examinations of the tooth,Dr T told me there was no crack. She mentioned the root of my tooth might have been infected or is becoming infected.(I dont remember exactly). She suggested I either go see an endodontist to see what they can do for me or to have an implant. She gave me options and did not pressure me for an implant
