Brandon Buch grew up on a farm in rural Fairfield. He comes from a large family of eight. Ever since he was young, he loved working outdoors and on the farm. Brandon started his lawn mowing business with a high school friend when he was 12 years old.
After graduating from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids with a degree in Landscape Management, Brandon continued on in this line of work with expanded services covering all aspects of lawn care and maintenance.In 2012, Brandon opened up Blue Ribbon Nursery at 410 South 7th Street. Brandon and his chocolate lab, Belle, will be more than happy to help you with all your outdoor projects.

We offer consultation, design and installation. We have a wide variety of quality plants on hand to handle both residential and commercial properties.

Below is some information to answer some general questions about the care of your evergreen trees. Please feel free to contact Blue Ribbon for additional assistance. WATER: We encourage you to thoroughly water newly installed trees once or twice a week the first year according to weather conditions.
