Treat yourself to long, beautiful eyelashes with Ooh La Lash & Beauty. Our staff can customize for you a look that's right for you according to your eye shape and size. Not all eyes are created the same, so your lashes should not be "one size fits all." Schedule an appointment or stop by today! Same-day appointments are available for our customers!
24 hour notice is required to cancel or move an appointment. If there is late notice of a change to an appointment half of the service price will be charged and in the case of a no show/ no call the full service price will be charged. Arrive on time to your appointment. 15 minutes late will be considered a late cancel as there is not enough time to perform the scheduled service.
Keep your new lashes dry for 48 hours following your lash appointment (for full sets AND fills). If your set is a hybrid or volume set, excessive heat or water can cause your fans to close up or straighten out. If too many of your fans are compromised, the will need to be removed and a fuller fill or full set will be required.

Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews on this place before coming here. My fault. I was in a rush to get my lashes done before my birthday trip so i literally booked the first person to answer the phone.
During and after my lash appointment, my eyes because extremely red, irritated and watery. I messaged Erica and she said they had no experience with other clients having this reaction and maybe I was allergic to the glue. Her suggestion was to have them removed after spending $200 to have them put on. I decided to see if the irritation went away which it thankfully did. A few days later

As a beauty professional it's important to make your client feel heard and validated, and I also realize that what a client might have in mind can't always be described in words and why I always ask for pictures. I brought lots of pictures with me to my appointment so that we would not have a misunderstanding on what I wanted .
Long story short I didn't get the lashes I wanted and paid for.
I wanted a "wispy" airy set. When I looked on their IG account I saw a pic of what I wanted ..I showed her.
It was the classic style I was looking for, I don't know the difference

I have been coming to the gemfor several years. The owner Erica is awesome the salon is clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. It's a small shop which I like to support. I personally get my lashes done by Rachel she is excellent at what she does and very knowledgeableI highly recommend the services.

Erica and Rachel are the hidden gems of La Mesa! I love going to the salon knowing I am going to see these two magicians. I feel so beautiful leaving each and every time. Terrible! Can't believe in this day and age to be treated this way. They charge you $20 if you don't cancel within 24 hours BUT will cancel last minute on you with no help of another appointment within a reasonable time frame. Plus rude! I was so turned off after they did this to me (and I found an amazing place for much less) I called back to cancel my daughter's appointment for the next day and was told it was less then a technical twenty-four hours!! Staff was friendly. Lashes did look nice the day they were put on. I got my lashes done for my son's wedding. Lashes done on a Wednesday and wedding was the following Tuesday. Unfortunately lashes had started to fall out significantly before the week was up. I had to use strip lashes for the wedding. I could have saved myself all that money since I had to use the strip ones anyway. You live and you learn Not going back.

If I could give this place a ZERO I would! I called to cancel my appt. that I had set up the day before, something had come up from work, and I had to call to reschedule my appt. someone from the staff said "hold on let me let you speak my manager" so the "manager" got on the line and was not even considered. She was straight up RUDE and so unprofessional. When I had asked for her name she refused to give it to me. She kept saying to me "the late charge is on the website" and I tried to explain to her that information was not ever given to me. So this so-called Erica who is the manager is setting

I would love to send a big thank you to Erica! My daughter got her first set of lashes from somewhere else and they did a horrible job. My daughter was in tears! I called Erica's and she had her come right down and Erica fixed them! They look so natural and beautiful. But what I found more amazing was Erica charged my daughter nothing to fix someone else mess. Not only did she not charge my daughter, she stayed past closing on a Friday to finish them. Erica your lashes are amazing and you are even more amazing of a person. Thank you for putting a smile back on my daughter face.

I’ve finally found a place that does lashes and even women have to ask me if they are natural!! Rachel is amazing. She is the consummate professional - always making sure I am comfortable and meticulous with my lashes. The initial appointment is always the longest, with fills being shorter. I have very sensitive eyes/ skin and when I started to show signs of irritation around my eyes, Rachel went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and adjust the process to avoid irritating my eyes as much as possible.
Rachel and Erica is always warm and welcoming to their patrons and make me feel like a friend and not just a customer.

It got 2 stars because they were really nice. Besides that not really satisfied. I went for lash extensions on Friday... they looked ok when she finished to say the least... it's now Monday and almost all of the lash extensions have fallen off my right eye.. I know how to care for them and have done everything I was told yet they're still gone... in 2 days .. when they're suppose to last 2-3 weeks. I won't be going back again... actually going to get them fixed somewhere else which is ridiculous since I paid 105 for a few hours of lashes. very disappointed will not be going

I’ve been coming here for over 2 years and Erica has always done an amazing job on my lashes! I get tons of compliments and people always ask if they’re real! Erica is professional, honest and really takes pride in her work! I’ve had friends tell me they’ve lost their real eyelashes from getting extensions but after consistently getting them done for over 2 years I haven’t and it’s because Erica is so careful and will always tell you the truth if she thinks something isn’t possible or if it would hurt our natural beauty in the end.

Rachel does amazing lashes! They look very natural, and I think they've made my face so pretty even without makeup. I really highly recommend her work. I love this place. Have been coming here a while, so this review is way overdue. Rachel always has my lashes looking extra gorgeous, and Erica as the owner is fantastic. It's like I'm with friends since we talk about so many things! I'm also doing microdermabrasion, and getting great results. That's why I keep coming back for more. They're the best!! Professional, friendly, and fantastic customer service!
