The Ryu Acupuncture Clinic is a family business run by mother,father and their two children. They make you feel like you are part of their family. I can't believe it has taken me 2 years to write this update, but it's been a busy time. Dr. Ryu is a special part of our family forever because he helped us to conceive two healthy, beautiful babies within 2 years! I started seeing Dr. Ryu, Veronica and Jennifer consistently in February of 2021 due to infertility issues. After just two months of weekly visits and daily herbal medicine I found out I was pregnant. I owe it all to this team. I love Dr. Ryu and everyone in his office! I had been to Dr. Ryu's office several times for various aches and pains, but in March 2020, just before the initial shutdown, I started seeing him for fertility issues and continued seeing him throughout the pandemic. The office adopted safety measures quickly, and I always felt comfortable and safe going there. My journey with Ryu Acupuncture began in 2019. I started sessions after referral from a colleague I work with that had had success with his treatments and became naturally pregnant after infertility. This place was nice very clean and new expensive looking, the doctor makes really bad jokes. The odd thing was he only did acupuncture in my hands even after telling him what has worked for me in the past was acupuncture on my back and cupping.
I was surprised when I saw what his company tried to bill insurance. They tried to say a few seeds on my ear and two needles in my hand was a $4000.00 procedure. Yes 4k. After seeing that I understand why the office had a lot of nice upgrades. Despite always wanting a o support Korean owned businesses, I will never go back here again. Hopefully I can find

Dr. Ryu is a life saver. He helped my mom with her arm when no one else could, and helped and continues to help my sister with her neck, back, and feminine issues (that you never would have guessed could be helped with acupuncture). Best part (other than his incredible knowledge and ability to treat) is that they take insurance! Love Dr. Ryu. Have to continue my treatments ASAP!

I'll be honest. We were pretty much on the fence as to whether acupuncture would work. And my first trip to the doc for headaches was a little worrisome. My second blew my mind and made me a believer - a back ache I've had for years, seriously gone since that one visit and that was more than a year ago. This doc knows his stuff. And he's got a witty sense of humor too. The best part of all this is that we believed he helped my wife get pregnant. Her treatments relaxed her, his home-made teas appeared to shock her system and now we're expecting! Can't say enough about him

I have been suffering with chronic pain for years. My only relief came from painkillers and they would make me a zombie. Then I found Dr. Ryu and he said he could help me. I no longer rely on painkillers to get through the day and I rarely take them. This man is a magician. I've been able to work full time and not wish for death every night. I can enjoy my life again. Tried to make an appointment using my insurance and without seeing my insurance or looking into it Lucy said my insurance doesn't cover treatment. When I pointed out that they hadn't seen my ins. and my current acupuncturist can bill it just fine Lucy changed her story and said they simply don't accept ins. for my treatment.

I came In on a Friday morning, 5 days past my due date. I had tried going to a chiropractor, eating "the salad" in north hollywood, massage and walking around, baby just wasn't dropping.
Dr Ryu did what he did, and i sat there for 15 minutes. He recommended another appointment the following day if nothing happened so i scheduled one. Dr Ryu was kind and affordable given my insurance covered it so i didn't mind the extra trip if needed. Truthfully wasn't expecting anything but there were a few yelp reviews that left me hopeful. I will say, later that night my water broke

Dr Ryu is a miracle worker. I've had tinnitus for a solid year and I've done what one is supposed to do: see an ENT, get an MRI, take a lot of vitamins, and after minimal improvement, I thought I would be stuck with the ringing in my ears for life. As I write this, I have zero tinnitus and full hearing!

Last year Dr Ryu treated me for cervical stenosis and other neck muscle pain. I am pain free - in part due to Dr Ryu. He made every visit meaningful by talking about what I could do to improve my symptoms, and each time I left his office I felt wonderfully euphoric!
He is an amazing healer!
I returned to him again for some lower back pain and it was amazing how quickly my body responded. At least 50% improvement after 1 visit and after 2-3 visits - my back was not bothering me at all.

I have lumbar Stenosis, my friend one day at church watched me walking in and and say whats up, I said I have a horrible back issue. She said you need to see Dr. Ryu. After much pain med. and two Epidurals that did not work for long. Dr. Ryu has made me in much better shape than all that thet I went through.
Now I am taking my 15 year old to him, she has had issues with bone spurs and Petella tendenitis. She may be able to go back to Dance soon thanks to this Acupuncture. Its fabulas. try him. He really knows what to do to make you well........
