The Conrad Mansion has several fantastic caterers at a variety of price points with delicious menu options. Please note that there is no food and beverage minimum and when utilizing Apres Bar Co. for bar service, it is possible to have a lovely meal and bar for 200 guests for under $5,000 with several of our catering options (catering and bar not included in venue rental pricing.)
Yes, when the agreement is signed to "save the date" we require $2,000 "Date Reservation Fee" for Weekend Celebrations or a $1,000 "Date Reservation Fee" for One & Two Day Rentals. 12 months prior to the event 50% of the remaining fee will be due. The final installment will be required 3 months prior to the event.
More and more couples are breaking out of the norms and doing something different and spontaneous. What's the difference between a MicroWedding, an Elopement, and a Minimony? Here's how we define it. A Minimony is a mini- ceremony, similar to the microwedding, held with a smaller group of loved ones which may lead to the couples sequel wedding often held later with a larger group of loved ones.

The Conrad Mansion, specifically the Carriage House, really impressed. Coming from the perspective of one who plans and decorates spaces such as these, I was blown away. Jeff has the most incredible attention to detail. They are incredibly organized and know just what to do. Their operation truly is a well oiled machine. It was very refreshing to deal with such a level of professionalism! 10/10 recommend!

The carriage house fit our needs perfectly for our Harvest Supper fundraiser. Jeff & Kim worked with us to create a wonderful space that helped all of the guests feel special. They also opened up the Mansion for our guests to take a tour which was frosting on the cake. The whole evening went very well and we can't thank Jeff & Kim enough for their hospitality. The carriage house is simply beautiful. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the space is. Just when you think you have seen all the beauty of the place you find a new spot. There are so many options for amazing pictures. Thank you Conrad Mansion for having such a hidden gem in Central Iowa.

Gorgeous setting 😍 Wonderful options for indoor or outdoor settings. The mansion is huge and has so much character and history. It offers so much room for people to stay. With several common areas like the massive gym and theater room there is a lot to do on site. The addition of the Carriage House is stunning with such wonderful details perfect for any event.The owners are wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend this place for your wedding or next event.

Huge, rambling mansion, with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and many gathering areas. It was an ideal spot for a family reunion, and the hosts were very nice. The indoor gym with adjacent seating ended up being a family favorite where everyone could play or watch but be together. Plan ahead for your cooking arrangements because there were a few items not found in the kitchen that you might assume should be, and bring your own shampoos and laundry detergent. The fountain wasn't working, an A/C repair man walked in unannounced, and some of the exterior upkeep could be improved
