At Tri State Basement Repair and Waterproofing, our goal is to offer superior products and service at affordable prices. Our Company is a family of it's own, here to help you and your loved ones solve all of your basement problems and ease your worries. Locally owned and operated, Tri-State Basement Repair and Waterproofing was created with the soul intent to give downstairs living space back to homeowners.
Although Niagara Falls is one of nature's beautiful creations, the last thing you want is nature creating such a thing in your basement! Not only can basement leaks make life miserable, they can cause serious damage, like weakening your home's foundation. Basement walls generally seal out a reasonable amount of water, but can rarely withstand great amounts of water pressure.
The atmosphere in a basement is different than any other room in your home. Basements are usually subterranean, so they are naturally prone to being damp, humid, and moist. This creates a breeding ground for mold and mildew, also causing unpleasant odors. Reducing the humidity is a huge part of the solution, as mold will not grow at less than 50% relative humidity.
In many cases, the hydro-static pressure caused by ground water has caused foundation walls to bow, shear, crack, or crumble. Aesthetically, this usually doesn't look good, and often these kinds of issues can lead to the very serious problem of a complete failure of a foundation wall. The good news is that just about anything is repairable.
Your home is your most valuable asset, and each home and basement is different. All foundation experts agree that the most common points of water entry are over the top of the foundation through the footings, and down the walls, which causes a wet basement. Left alone, the vast majority of home foundations have either leaked at some point, or will leak in the future.

Tri-State did a basement for me that had lots of water every time it rained. The system they installed has kept my basement dry. It was quick and professional. I can't recommend their services enough.

This is the company you need to call they saved our home. It's stronger than it ever was . They responded to my phone calls or texts in a timely manner, the workers were professional, friendly and they left my land around the house and crawl space cleaner than when they came. We had some delays due to the covid issues, and our water table but none due to this company. The owner would even work when needed and was always checking up on progress. I can't say enough good about this company!!! THANK YOU so much for all you did to save us. I will recommend you until I'm blue in the face.

We had a basement window replaced, and window-well dug out. The work looks fine (we haven't had a big rain to test it out yet) but our interactions with the business office were pretty terrible. There are some simple things they could do to improve interactions with customers that would make the experience much better.
We got a quote in summer, 2019, and they had to delay the install to May, 2020 due to weather - which I fully understand. But then they billed us every month for the work, despite monthly calls from me to request that they stop, because the work was never done. When the May install

I hired them to install an egress window and drain tile. They never back filled and then during a big rain we got water in the basement. I called them to come fix and my calls were ignored. Then after I back filled the egress window, we had another big rain and it leaked again. For some reason the drain tile didn't pump out any water and then water just filled up in the egress window allowing it to seep through the window. I've tried calling at least 3 different times to have this issue remedied and nobody calls back to fix the work which should be covered by their "warranty". What a joke. I'll

Revised review ( Antonia B ). Tri-State did our basement in Madison for the cost of over $6,500, in November 2019 ( 5 months ago). In the process they moved and broke our water softener. The company has said they will repair/ replace it but have not.
The water softener is still leaking and the company has not replaced it, repaired it or contacted us in spite of our attempts.
This is NOT a reliable company.
Be aware that they sub-contract out the work to crews of untrained laborers who then disappear.
Several of our neighbors in Madison ( Lynnhaven Rd) are thinking to use Tri-State to also waterproof

Hard to write this review. We had previously had a great experience with Tri-state at our previous residence (in 2016), however, this time around it didn't go so well. The crew was loud (shouting to each other) and often used profanity. They jackhammered into our sewer pipe, which was our responsibility to fix per: the contract. They also had the wrong encapsulation on hand, then when ordering the correct one, received the wrong on by the company, resulting in many delays for us. They concreted our dryer vent closed on accident and promised to fix it when they returned to encapsulate the walls

The company was professional from start to finish. The estimator gave clear details of the work needed in layman's terms and provided thorough instructions on how to prepare the basement for the job. The crew started on time, kept the mess to minimum, completed on time, and cleaned up well after themselves. Everyone was courteous and friendly. We had our basement waterproofed two years ago and after a couple of seasons with heavy rains, it stood the test of time. We highly recommend; the peace of mind is worth every penny.

Tri-State Basement Repair did a wonderful job when my basement was flooding, due to the massive amounts of rain we received. They had someone to my house in a very timely manner and they were very informative and helpful. I am very VERY pleased to say that my basement is dryer than ever now with the Drain Tile System and Sump Pump they installed. The crew did a great job. They crew members, office staff and sales men were all very welcoming and reassuring! If you ever need anything done, I would recommend this business to take care of it!

Tri State saved our house...simple as that. Six years ago, we bought an old farmhouse in Adams Co., WI. The basement/crawl space flooded every spring and we learned that the dampness had rotted the main wooden support beam. We were told by an architect our only hope to save the house was to lift it and build a new foundation and floor. We soon learned that was something we could not afford. Tri-State Basement Repair had a better idea. They first dug a new outdoor entrance to the basement, then replaced the rotted beam with a new one made of steel. Then they dug around the perimeter, set drain tiles
