What should I expect from Oriental medicine? A. When you first begin a course of treatments in the Oriental Healing Arts, you may barely be aware of the door you have opened to a new world. Chinese Medicine is based in 5000-plus years of clinical experience in physical therapy (acupuncture, massage, osteo-manipulation), herbal (dietary) and exercise therapy (tai chi, chi gong, kung fu). The origin of these practices are said to be divine, but more practical, contemporary researches claim these studies developed gradually with trial and error.
The brain provides warnings to the body whenever blockages occur within the energy pathways.
