Today I received a trim and a FABULOUS color service from Amanda. This place is so so relaxing, welcoming, cozy, and just makes you feel like you are at home. I have never enjoyed a hair appointment as much as I did today. Also, all the people here are sweet beyond words. If you are looking for a good salon, this place is calling your name. Also, my girl Amanda Alston is the BOMB.COM, and the other ladies in the salon do some fabulous work as well from what I saw today. I'm just a little biased to Amanda of course But seriously Salon 117 is the place for you, they even do massages and facials!

This place is not big & fancy, but it is wonderful! They treated my mom & I so well & we both got a great cut! The people are friendly, helpful & repectful & management is respectful, appreciative & good to their staff. They have a lot of talent there. We had a wonderful experience there with Rachel Downs. She was very careful, caring & precise & worked magic with my frizzy hair!

I moved to the Augusta area a few months ago and booked an appointment with Ashley. I'm naturally dark brown but have highlighted my hair to platinum for over 25 years. It's difficult to get the "perfect" shade without leaving me "brasssy". I am very particular with my color and the first time Ashley did my hair, she nailed it! I was so pleased that I booked appointments for the rest of the year and will be booking for 2022 and beyond. When you are in her chair, you have her undivided attention. I moved across country to Georgia almost 3 years ago and have been getting my hair done by Ashley ever since! Her work (both color and cut) is amazing! I’ve followed her to salon 117 and it is so cute, cozy and professional. She makes you feel comfortable, and you feel so good leaving the salon. Even my family from California have come to visit me and have gotten their hair done from her. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. So if you’re looking for a new hairstylist, GO SEE ASHLEY.

I wouldn’t trust anyone else besides Ashley to do my highlights! I have never had someone take the time she takes or puts as much detail in her work as she does. My highlights are always seamless and bright. She takes extra precautions to keep my hair in good health! She is the foil queen! The salon itself is beautifully decorated, welcoming, and clean!

FANTASTIC! By far the best salon I’ve ever been to. Angel color corrected my hair to perfection. She brought my hair back from death after being fried so badly by someone else, to a beautiful blonde/grey. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
