Central City Millworks is the premiere New Orleans custom millworks and moulding shop, focusing on preserving old New Orleans craftsmanship & building in the new New Orleans style. Located in the heart of New Orleans in the Central City neighborhood, Central City Millworks was born out of the need for high quality woodwork by construction companies that specialize in high-end renovations and honor historic nature of New Orleans.
Our skilled team of construction professionals and craftsmen are ready to take on your next project, large or small, with the passion of true artisans. Our years of experience working with historical elements-that by law must be carefully crafted and reproduced along certain guidelines-have helped us build a solid reputation for consistent delivery of top-quality, authentic New Orleans craftsmanship.
Your cabinets will be made locally, here at the mill shop, by our state-of-the-art CNC (Computer Numerical Control with 3 axis') router. Computerized accuracy makes it possible to use specialty hardware (that requires highly accurate fitting) to provide especially smooth operation of cabinet doors and drawers.
Although the process of extracting every piece of metal from these scarce reclaimed beams can be arduous and complicated, at CCM we do our best to give you top-quality heart pine at a reasonable cost. Contrasting in depth of color and tone, our antique heart pine is available in different grades-ranging from delicate, elegant refined lines to the post-industrial knot- and nail-hole-ridden types.
From an idea to a sketch to a CAD drawing, we can craft tables, chairs, dressers and more-all to your specifications. After we complete a 3D ECAD rendering, we'll cut the wood, make and assemble the components, finish the piece and deliver it to your door. We can also help you with a treasured antique that needs repair or restoration.

We needed custom French doors leading from our master bedroom out to our balcony in Algiers Point. My contractor had never used Central City Millworks before but called them and then went over to see their operation after I found them online. He said he wasn't comfortable dealing with a company prior to seeing not only some of their work, but also their workplace. He said he knew the minute he walked in that Central City knew what they were doing due to their professional equipment and setup. My contractor, Al, supplied them with detailed measurements and got a bid for the doors. They were not

5 STAR PLUS!!! It is with TREMENDOUS gratitude and satisfaction that I recommend CCM. They are the most professional, quality-oriented, customer service mill workshop there is!! I contacted CCM within a week after the Great Flood of 2016. At the time, I was only looking to replace my beautiful nail down Select pine floors and was put in touch with David Walker. With all the chaos in this area, lack of supplies, poor workmanship, and poor customer service, I was very desperate.
David drove down to my home which is a little over an hour away from their workshop. He went over

Dishonest and untrustworthy. Central City Millworks quoted me "around $30 each" to replace five 4" rosettes on the front of my home. Then they called the following week and said the job would require an additional $150 for a custom knife that they needed to complete the job... when I asked to keep the knife, that charge was upped to $300 for the knife. When I asked if there was any way they could be done without a knife, Central City Millworks said "no". They also told me their lathe was backed up and the project would take at least 3 weeks. I picked up my sample piece and went to Scott at NOLA

My husband and I were looking for some custom cabinets for our bathroom renovation. We were not certain of what we wanted but the guys at Central City Millworks were extremely helpful. They took measurements of our bathroom, did some sketches of what we were thinking, showed us pictures of some of their past projects, and then gave us some great suggestions so we achieve the most from our space. We settled on a design, which they quickly constructed. We were very impressed with the craftsmanship and skill that went into our cabinets, mirror surround, base boards, and crown molding. It is so MUCH

Terrible customer service. I called them for some renovations to millwork they had previously installed that was already deteriorating. Promised me an estimate in a week- had to follow up 3 times before I received an estimate...3 weeks later. They missed deadline after deadline for drawing up plans and setting a start date. Excuse after excuse about why things were delayed even after I told them I had a check ready for them if they started. After 5 weeks of wasted time and energy (and no actual work even started), I finally gave up and hired another company which completed the work within 2 weeks
