At the start of their marriage & careers, they had two dental practices, one in Wauwatosa and one in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. Wanting to enjoy outdoor family activities that the Northwoods offers and looking for a quiet area to raise their children, they moved to Mercer, Wisconsin in 1999. The children are all grown now, but all still love coming back to the Northwoods for visits.
We have recently sent all of our hygienist from both of our offices to be dental laser certified! This is a great way to help our patients treat their periodontal disease. Since we have been using this technique we have had great success in treating periodontal symptoms and decreasing bacteria below the gum line.
Over the past few months there have been many updates and trainings at our Woodruff and Park Falls offices. Our team is always looking to expand our dental knowledge to help our patients have the best dental experience possible. In late September, Lori, Patti, and Wendy attended a Dental Business meeting in Wisconsin Dells that helped understand how to help our patients understand their dental insurance plans.

Doing a crown prep, half way done they tell me I need a root canal, or pull the tooth. Ok, just pull the tooth, which they did. Insurance payment came back "above usual and customary charge" and payed only a portion of the bill.
Next phase, was having trouble with the tooth, not being able to afford their high bill, we went to another dentist. Upon X-raying it, Panzl's had left the roots behind. so in effect I had the same tooth pulled twice.
Upon complaining we get the big runaround, prove it! So now we have to bring them the before and after X-rays and all the documentation.

Dr. Pinzl did an incredible job on my bridge! Kindness, generosity, and expertise was exhibited during my whole process! He thoroughly explained everything and made sure I was comfortable and at ease! Mary exhibited the same grace, kindness, thoroughness and expertise! And Patty was very kind and knowledgeable about the payment process! And always wonderful to experience the presence of Vicky and Wendy even though they were busy with other patients!! My experience was outstanding! I am incredibly grateful!

The office is equipped with advanced technology that makes your appointment more comfortable and quick. Staff are always so friendly and thorough! I am a breastfeeding mom and my needs were accommodated so I could have privacy and be comfortable-- kudos for being a breastfeeding friendly business! Very happy with my appointment.
