Valliant is our family name. It is generally thought to derive from an old French term used to describe someone who was brave and strong. The first Valliant family came to the shores of the U.S. via New Orleans in 1840. Not far from where you will find us today! Valliant was originally founded in 1953 by James Valliant Sr. as a local parts store for automobiles.
Valliant is conveniently located on Airline Highway in Metairie, Louisiana. The 15,000 square foot warehouse provides ample space for the 5,000 square foot parts department, showroom, and workshop. You can expect to find one of the largest Detroit diesel parts departments in the country stocked full of everything you need for your engine repairs and modifications.
