Services
Vermont Lamp and Shade, LLC was established in August of 2009 by Moe Roberts and his wife Carmelle. As this couple began to discuss the possibility of starting their own Lighting business during the summer months of that year, they were encouraged by friends and family. Moe, founder of Vermont Lamp, is American Lighting Association trained and certified, and has worked in the industry since 1987.
Here at Vermont Lamp & Shade, we value the relationship we build with contractors. It is important to be able to work directly with the contractor to fit the lighting needs of the client. If you are a contractor and are looking for a lighting distributor - you've come to the right place. We have prepared a Customer Agreement Application and have made it available here for your convenience.
The kitchen is the most functional area in the house, and therefore needs the most light of any room. Because the kitchen is where all the action is, we have an array of lighting options to reach ever inch of this space with under cabinet lighting, island lights, recessed lighting and decorative pendants.
Ceiling fans are both functional and beautiful. They serve many purposes, from cooling people in the summers to re-directing warm air down in the winter. Since they come in all shapes and sizes, they can fit any room. They also incorporate a variety of different lighting styles to coordinate with any lighting themes.
Decorative Items and Accessories are the corner stone of giving life to a room - and a big part of building the right ambiance. There are many ways of doing this. We can help by providing you with several choices of modern and antique style mirrors, dimmer controls - which help create a lighting mood, and interesting center pieces like fountains.

My wife and I were having a house built. Our contractor suggested Vermont Lamp and shade as their preferred lighting vendor. We could not be any happier with the service and attention Moe provided us. He worked diligently to ensure he understood our styles and made sure he found the best possible lighting to fit. I had looked all over for some electrical parts to hang an out doors wall light for my daughter. No supply house had anything close to what u needed. As soon as I walked in they knew just what I needed had it and gave me some spare pieces to make sure it worked well. Spectacular relief to find this shop and get the project done. He could not have been nicer

Was super impressed to learn they could have a lampshade CUSTOM MADE in the United States for such a reasonable price.
Why buy off the shelf, not quite what you had in mind, Made in China for Walm*rt when for LITERALLY just a few bucks more you can get EXACTLY what you want?
Right down to the color of metal frame!
(most are gold but I wanted silver to match my lamp)
