The Encore Performing Arts Center and Gallery has been the home of the County Seat Theater Company since 2008. Seating 135 patrons on raised seating, there is not a bad seat in the house. Enjoy local art in the gallery and a glass of wine before the show. This is Community Theater at its BEST! To offer the opportunity for individuals of all ages to participate in all aspects of the performing arts.

To bring quality live theater to the community. To promote the performing arts. It was a unique idea, "Let's put on a play!" After six weeks of rehearsal for Neil Simon's, The Odd Couple, the parking lot was filled, the show opened, and the laughs came. The community, as well as the organizers, had a wonderful experience, and the band was closer to buying those new uniforms.

Art Gallery Report
The Encore! Gallery is open to artists of all ages and genre. Each artist is allowed two pieces into each show. All profits from sales go back to the artist. Small town theater, big time entertainment. Their performances are always great and the actors come off stage at the end so you can meet everyone. I always have so much fun coming in to watch here

Its a wonderful little gem of a place! We are lucky to have a community theater in our neck of the woods. Our home grown actor's do a wonderful job of sharing their craft with us! The Encore also host's 2 summer acting camps for kids.

This is what community theater and community run theater should be. Charming, homey, welcoming, fun, entertaining and for a very reasonable cost! We had a great time seeing "The Game's Afoot." Bring a few extra bucks to enter the raffles and maybe buy some local artwork. :-)

Loved it! Went with my grandma and my Aunt and my grandma's Freind we all had such a fun time laughed and laughed such good actor's we saw The Games afoot. There was cookies,wine,coffe,drawings such fun I can't wait to go again I highly recommend to others who love plays they put a lot of work and effort into it to make a fantastic show thanks to the cast the director the theater thanks all of you.I will be coming back this weekend to see A one time Carol looking forward to it :)

I have enjoyed every play I have seen their it's a small theater which seating is that there isn't a bad seat in the house that's very family-orientated relaxing enjoyable and comfortable very pleasant atmosphere always I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there you've got to try it.
