John Holmes started Holmesy Express in 1995, when he delivered freight all over the United States. Eventually, as the business evolved, and John decided to specialize in expedited and freight delivery services within the Atlantic Southeast. Over the past 10 years, Holmesy Express has established a solid customer base throughout the United States who need freight delivery services in Atlanta and the surrounding areas.

Holmesy Express operates 26 foot straight trucks with lift gates, pallet jacks, straps and e-track load restraint bars. We can accommodate loads up to 10,000 pounds and 12 standard skids. Holmesy Express trucks have wireless internet connection with lap top and printer on board for sending and receiving emails and scanning and printing documents such as puck up orders, BOL's and POD's.

John saved my day with his impeccable service. If was near the end of the day on a Friday and he answered my call although he had left the office. He agreed to help me out on a Saturday, was courteous, professional and did exactly what he said he would. Made my customer happy. I would recommend him to anyone.

For any Atlanta area straight truck/Liftgate service (maybe up to 150 miles around Atlanta?), John at Holmesy Express is your best choice. He will provide a fast rate, and if he tells you the job will get done, it ALWAYS gets done professionally and on time. I called Holmesy Express out of the blue and John and his team did an amazing job to help me. He dropped everything for a person he had never spoken to before to pull off a miracle. FedEx Freight had messed up a delivery for a trade show and if I didn't get it delivered by the end of day then the show would have been over and we would have wasted a sales opportunity. I called John around 1 pm and I had a happy sales rep by 4:45. Thanks again to John and his team for making this happen.

We had a corporate charity event that we needed assistance with a few weeks ago - shipping 100 boxes to different locations around the world (each weighting about 35 pounds).
