I've been an avid photographer since my teenage years, and have honed my craft on my own children and now grandchildren since 1989. I've been a graphic designer and marketing professional since the mid-1990s. I decided to finally listen to my heart, and what friends and family had been telling me for years, and start a photography business.
I live in East Sacramento, giving me access to some pretty gorgeous on-location spots for getting awesome photos for my clients and a studio that is easily accessible. What you will want to pay attention to as you're looking at different photographers is that we all tend to have our own unique style with shooting photos and editing them in post-process.

As the stars indicate Heidi is "As good as it gets".
We recently had Heidi to do a photo shoot with our 11 month old granddaughter. Heidi was just incredible from start to finish. Heidi was not only very professional but very tuned into the type of "look and feel" we wanted. She responded to my inquiry immediately and followed up quickly with answers to any questions we had. One of the things I most appreciated was her willingness to accommodate the needs of a little one. We knew the best time for baby was noon but this was not the best time for outdoor photography but Heidi took the challenge

Heidi at Bullwinkle Photography was amazing! After 2.5 years, countless cellphone pics and many missed moments attempting to get a halfway decent photo of my son, I decided it was time to schedule a legit photo session.
Heidi picked the perfect setting and time of day for lighting. She also brought a couple props that she knew he'd like. Heidi has a 2 year old granddaughter so she knew not to expect my son to sit still and pose so we just let him run around and do his thing while she followed snapping away. Now I finally have some beautiful frame worthy photos!
