We have camped here a few times and we love it here. It's right on a river and it's so peaceful and clean. The only downside is that the sites are close together. The owners are strict with rules but this makes it a very safe and enjoyable place to camp. It's real family oriented. They have cabins to rent also. There tends to be a lot of riff hanging in and around campgrounds everywhere today but the owners are watchful and don't allow it here. So if you want to get drunk and cause a rucous please go somewhere else. I love that the owners are on top of that. The bathrooms are spotless and the showers

I stayed opening weekend for 5 days by myself, 6/16-6-21 with my son, the last weekend in August 4 days, and labor day weekend and Tuesday the 5th. Loved it!!!!!
Safest campground and rules are rules. There are chipmunks and retail squirrels you can feed a beautiful river and so much to do see or simply relax. Thank you diane and Mario for the most incredible camping experience. Their friendly and accommodating. Will be back!

We visited in a 38 foot travel trailer. The campground is VERY small and if you have a bigger rig I would not visit here. Very tight getting in and out and the sites are TINY. I could barely attach my water hose and keep it on my side of the line. The best sites (on the river) dont even have any hookups and are mostly for tents. Positive is that we did have alot of shade and it was quiet (except for the random guy knocking on our trailer door asking for Budweiser) .

**My response to the owner's, first off my kids were NEVER under anyone's camper, they aren't allowed under mine so why would they be under other's. We were not even at the campground on Monday so how do you know my kids were screaming all day?? As for baseball...they were PLAYING in the street and playing catch, they did go on a site to get THEIR ball, not to go under the camper. We got the police involved because we were threatened with being escorted out. We were also swore at by the male owner in front of children. You are not nice people so don't even try to act like you are...

We stayed at Country Bumpkins in July for 4 nights, renting one cabin for two friends and a trailer site for my husband and me. The trailer site was okay, though it lacked shade and it was too close to other sites, some of which contained children riding their bicycles recklessly. Our friends’ cabin, however, seemed quite nice. Both cabin and trailer site were located by a beautiful stream with a picnic table and grill and included a small deck overlooking the water with a table and two chairs. With the four of us being in our late 60’s, there was no cause for concern in terms of noise or wild

Just returned from week long stay.. 3rd time to Country Bumpkins repeat customer. It's a small campground with small campsites but well maintained and clean and on the river. I understand why they put the quiet hours in place and enforce them. Being such a small park sound travels. Family orientated park and lots of kids around. I was surprised how quiet every night was except for one night that a bunch ok kids arrived, but owner made effort to send kids back to sites after playing late in night at playground and riding bikes in dark. The following night a Friday when park was full it was quietest

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday weekend in September 2020 with our dogs in our tent. We LOVED it! The owners were friendly and personable, and everything was so clean!! We had a site right by the creek and it was just so peaceful. The bathrooms were heated, hot water shower, and SO CLEAN! They have free WiFi which is great, but we believe the whole point of camping is to cut off the rest of the world for a time and just enjoy nature and what it has to offer, and this is the perfect place to do it! The location is very central to so many things! We hiked Mount Lafayette and Mount

I have been camping my entire life. this is the first time I have EVER been told by management that I was being loud...
Quiet times are 8am - 10pm. I was watching my TV outside and the owner came over and told me that I need to turn the TV off. I told her I would turn it down but I would not turn it off. The next day her husband came over and gave "clarification" on the quiet time policy. "It means NO radio or TV can be on outside". I researched their website and the campground rules documents to see if it said that and I missed it. I could not find anywhere that stated

Here is my straight to the point review. The best thing about this campground is the location and bathrooms. I am still in awe about how clean the bathrooms were...and the location is hard to beat especially if you like to hike. If you stay here, you are about 30 minutes from some of NH's best mountains. Since it is a family site quiet hours are between 10 PM and 8 AM. My one complaint is how close quarters you are to your neighbors. I figured with COVID-19, there would be more social distances. The lack of privacy is what makes this campsite 4 stars instead of 5. Another plus, however, is

I really wanted to like this place more, but from the get go we had nothing but kids in and out of our site all day and night the first and second night. The first several nights the very large family reunion was super loud pretty much 24/7. The bathrooms are decent, the showers were clean. The lots are gravel and fairly level and mostly clean. Our dog is on a very strict diet; sadly you can feed the ducks here, and who ever last stayed in the site we were given left a giant pile of duck food and that's all she wanted to get at the whole time we were there. The view from our site was very

This is the second time we have stayed here and we loved it! The new owners are very nice but what warmed my heart was how great they were to our kids!! They told them how polite they were and gave them some penny candy to choose from..made their day! Thank you! The grounds are clean as well as the bathrooms. My only issue was spotty internet but we were on vacation so I didn't really care. We'll definitely be back!

Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 3 nights in a site for big rigs. Many of the sites next to us were level but most pads lacked gravel. If it had rained our grass pad would have been a mud pit and we would not have been able to get out. Is it that hard to put a little gravel down on the dirt? Our satellite did not work here (to many large trees to get reception). If you are looking for a quiet and clean park where you can sit outside and relax... go here. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

This campground has changed over the years. They used to have friendly workers, but that has changed. Now, the workers are rude, and they favor friends. What I mean by that, is if they have an open trailer, they might tell you it is booked, when it is NOT. This is most likely for favorited people, but, I might be wrong. The campers are nice, and mostly friendly. The sights and scenery is also good. There is much to do near by. So, overall, this is an OK campground.

We are so lucky to find this place to stay for our white mountain trip...one thing about this area, phone signal sucks...so how sweet they are offering free wifi in the campsite...Also, it offer the dish soup there too...so considerate...Also, they offer free coffee in the morning too. Amy is very knowledge employee, she can give you a very good suggestion about where to go, how to go..she is super awesome. Location is close to Lincoln downtown, very convenience. Bathroom is clean, and the shower is awesome... definitely come back next time...

Great home base for our White Mountain vacation. Our site was impeccably clean and the staff was helpful and welcoming. We were quite close to our neighboring campers, but the lack of width in our site was more than made up for by the campground's location - close to many favorite hikes & attractions. For $32 a night, we had full hookups for our RV & we fell asleep to the sound of the river. Our kids enjoyed the playground and feeding the ducks and had plenty of safe places to ride their bikes for our week's stay. We'll definitely be back.

Had a nice stay at this campground. However, did not realize we would be so close to people staying on either side of us (one being a family with a crying baby). Wifi did not work also.
Overall it was a nice experience, nice atmosphere right on the river and a little pond with ducks. The family operating the campground was very friendly and welcoming.

First I was looking for a camping close to the trails without lots of people. I decided country bumpkins because the reviews and the name. Cute name!
Once I got here I was afraid to be very close to the street. I was wrong. Once we did the check in with Amy, on of the nicest person I met, we move to our site. OMG this is amazing!!! We are at the river, close to a little waterfall. We had one of the best night of sleep ever! The water in the shower is awesome, makes you stay a little longer. They have wifi, each I'm using right now to place this review.

Camping right by a rushing river. Great but makes you have to pee.
Those were my first thoughts of Country Bumpkin. Well no... what a silly name where my first thoughts but the river added great ambiance.
CB was a great and relatively inexpensive family campground. It was conveniently located in Lincoln, not far from Woodstock. Friendly check in service and our spot was perfect, right by that grand river with a small waterfall. I'm not usually a fan of the "family friendly" campgrounds, but my camping buddy wanted showers and other non "roughing it" ammenities.
