Services
The Tampa Bay Society of Photographic Artists is nonprofit organization in the State of Florida. We are a group of professional and aspiring fine art photographers who meet once a month to encourage and develop a community aimed at putting Tampa Bay's photographic art scene on the map. Our mission is to develop fine art photography in the Tampa Bay area through collaboration, education, and exhibition.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of our society is the unity and humility that has become characteristics of our meetings and events. Photographic artists from around Tampa Bay from all walks of life and all experience levels come together to share, grow, and experience the world of fine art together.
One of the most valuable benefits of being a member of our society is the ability to take part in our peer review sessions. These sessions take place during our monthly meetings and are the very last segment, sometimes lasting late into the night. Attendees are encouraged to stay as late as they can to review the artwork of those present and assist in providing their critique and feedback as a fellow artist.

13 Tampa Bay fine art photographers explore the beautiful landscape that is the human body. Work featured for one night only at the Creative Loafing Space in Tampa, FL. We celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by showcasing 16 beautiful pieces by 4 different artists at Fuego Lounge in St Petersburg, Florida.

I attended Tampa Bay Society of Photographic Arts events on Oct 9, 2021.
The artist being highlighted was Marlene Fox showing her work: Bloodfight - Stories from the beginning. She did very well on her presentation. There was much in her experiences one could connect with. For an artist, it can be challenging to public talk about your inner… thoughts on why one does art. It is like you are exposed in that time. She did very well.
The staff was very helpful in answering any questions on how to have a photographer move from just taking pictures into the big step of becoming an artist. To show
