Is anyone ever prepared to exchange roles, the parent becomes the child and the child becomes the parent? My husband and I found ourselves in this role. Both of us juggling full-time jobs, finding time and patience for a young child. Quickly things became very overwhelming.
We met with Nick. To be honest the thought of having a stranger come into our home was another intimidating thought. We hired GC not knowing what to expect, hoping for the best.
Today, GC is one of the family. Without the support, the support for my mother and the support they provide me as a caregiver I would have collapsed

Amazing employees and management. It is very hard to trust someone to care for a loved one and I am so happy that I found this place. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing company that can help with the long term care of a loved one.

It takes a great deal for me to sit down and write an online review. It is not that I am not thankful for extraordinary service, it is just that I happen upon it so infrequently - especially in the field of home care for seniors. Our family has had some trying experiences, ones that I hope to forget sooner than later. But what Goldcare has done, in the care of a family member with extreme disabilities has shown me that competence does exist in this field.
Due to my job I cannot live in Virginia. In fact I live about ten hours drive from where I grew up. Thus, it is impossible for me to be there

GoldCare Services provided nursing at home care for a good friend of mine from the time she was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer until her recent death.
The owner of the company, Nick, met with her and her family at the start and paired her with a primary caregiver who had a background in brain injuries and knew what to expect and how to hand situations that were to come. In addition to doing a fine job, Cara's compassion for my friend was evident at every turn during the illness. She and Nick even showed up at the funeral.
All of us, both family and friends, are so grateful to the GC personnel

GoldCare Services has provided my mother exceptional care-giving. Nick, the owner is practically available 24 x 7 and takes hands on personal responsibility for 100% client satisfaction.
His staff is prompt, professional and always arrives and departs with a smile. They work very well unsupervised, are trustworthy and detailed tasks are consistently completed with minimal instruction. We consider GoldCare more family than a service provider.
