Motel Del Rogue
The Motel Del Rogue is a unique, locally-owned and operated motel featuring 15 different units, ranging from single bed and one-bedrooms suites to two and three-room suites. Many of our guests come for a week or two just to relax. Many of our guests have made this motel their destination vacation spot for as many as 30 years.

The Motel sits on almost two acres of scenic riverfront property, with plenty of lawn and garden areas for your enjoyment. We charge a nominal fee for pets and ask that they be flea-free, up-to-date on vaccinations, and under control of the owner at all times.
Services
The Motel Del Rogue has been locally operated as a motel since the early 1930's. Before we bought the motel in 2000, Kevin had managed other people's resorts and motels for over 20 years. Constance previously owned and operated a textile design company. Today, the motel gives her an outlet for her artistry and sense of style.

This is no cookie cutter motel! I loved our unique room and deck overlooking river! The full kitchen and utensils made it very convenient to stay for longer periods! The people running this place were friendly, accommodating and professional! Their service was above and beyond the expected! We enjoyed the room, badminton field and river walk! We will return, the next time were up near Grants Pass.
Thanks for mailing us those sweaters we left in the closet!! Ya'll rock! 👍

My family used to frequently stay at the Motel Del Rogue in the 90's and early 2000's. After a long absence we returned this May for an 8 night stay. "You can't go home again" is a falsehood regarding this amazing resort. Clean, comfortable, right on the river and the nicest owners on earth. Honestly we didn't feel much need to sight-see - this is where we wanted to be. Our two dogs felt right at home and the cabin was much roomier than our accomodations on the long road trip to and from. Usually, after a long absence, things are different and usually not for the better. Not true of the Motel Del

I never write reviews, but had such a wonderful experience that I need to share! My friends and I stayed here with our dogs before hiking the Rogue River Trail. When we arrived in the evening, the property was so peaceful and quiet. There are lots of big trees, quirky decorations, flowers, and paths leading right down to the river. Our room was super clean, cozy, and stocked with everything you would need. The porch looking out over the river was lovely! Kevin and his family were so genuinely kind and cared about our stay. My partner and I actually called after hiking the trail to see if there

We make a point of staying here every trip we make through this area. It's a slice of heaven on earth. Peaceful and spotlessly clean. The owners are some of the nicest people and always so accommodating. Had a few girlfriends with me last trip....we stuck our camp chairs right in the river out back and spent the day laughing and having cocktails. The views are always lovely, the beds crisp with the best ever mattresses. Great coffee and the cutest patio furniture.

I stayed one night at the Motel Del Rogue in July of 2020, and firstly, let me tell you that one night at this property is not even close to enough. Not only is the location absolutely spectacular (riverfront with plenty of space and seating to enjoy the view) but the family that runs it must be some of the nicest and most genuine people on the face of the planet.

Before I get into too much detail, I need to share an example of the care and courtesy that the owners exhibit. I left my binoculars somewhere on the property, and made my way back down south on my road trip none the wiser. About a

What an absolute pleasure staying here! It had a very “summer cabin in the woods” feel.
Does it need a new layer of paint? Probably but we enjoyed exactly how it was. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean. We had our own kitchenette to cook food which is great during these times. Delivery also came to us with Panda Express.
The second night we switch painlessly to the next room (11) that had a giant jacuzzi tub that my small family loved.
It felt private and we had our own deck over looking the river where we played in. There was plenty of outdoor seating for social distancing and

Bed outstanding! Deck overlooking river lovely. All amenities with a mind to the environment and personal comfort (cotton, unscented). Wonderful welcoming hosts. Family owned. Decor with a mind to 'If it works, don't replace it' rather than to image. Simplicity is a guide, as in the way I was raised and value. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

On a planned trip to Grants Pass, I had made reservations at a big hotel but canceled them when a friend recommended Motel Del Rogue. Such a great decision. Kevin, Constance and Sylvia were friendly and welcoming. Loved our room overlooking the river. I had my best sleep in 30 years! Such a special place. Frankly, I wish we could just move there.

So lovely! We did a quick trip to the Redwoods from Portland and were so happy when we arrived at Motel Del Rogue. I would certainly stay again when rolling through the area. It was quaint, clean, charming and had everything we needed for a good night's rest. The owners were so kind, as were their cats :) They were also very responsive via email.

We were passing through and needed a good halfway point to stay at between Washington to California. I looked up Motel Del Rogue and was impressed with all the great reviews! I called to make reservations and they were so nice on the phone, they didn't require any deposit to hold the room. That is so hard to find these days and I loved that they trusted their customers to follow through.

On our road trip down, Kevin the owner called us to check on how we were doing and gave us great directions to find the motel. Since we weren't getting in until 1AM and he had to go pick up new light

We've stayed here two years in a row. The location is beautiful.

All rooms have a view of the river from the balcony. Some of the balconies are large enough for a family dinner table and chairs. It's nice to dine on the balcony watching the river and the birds.

All of the rooms that we've stayed in have a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Several of the rooms also have a larger fridge and stove.

The rooms are rustic but clean. No weird smells although one of the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke so check to make sure that your room is non smoking if that's important

A charming, quaint 1930s autocourt lovingly preserved and maintained. Rooms overlook Rogue River and are very clean. Decor is eclectic re-purposed, tastefully refreshed. Microwave and small fridge plus coffee maker in room. Two very cool watch cats on duty.
NOTE: Be sure to ask owner Kevin for wifi password -- despite his wife's reminders, he often forgets this, he says.
These old autocourts (small cabins with attached garages, here long-ago incorporated into rooms) are disappearing from the travel scene. The convivial owners are genuine, old-fashioned "innkeepers," sadly

We called late night last minute on a long road trip to Portland, & they greeted us warmly at 1 AM. Once we got to our rooms, I immediately wished we could stay longer. The place has such a nice, warm, comfy cozy feel. The bed was so comfortable, & our room looked right out onto the river. I will be staying here anytime we travel through.

If you're looking for a place without character like a national franchise go somewhere else. If you want a place where customer service means being greeted on the phone and when you arrive and it seems like a great relative is happy you're here then that's what this place is about. The room had a refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, great bed, hairdryer, plenty of lighting, iron and ironing board, plenty of decorations and a sliding door at the end of the bed opening to a great view of the river. The Motel Del Rogue is a very quaint little motel right on the Rogue River (Just outside of Grants Pass). Great view from our room and Kevin the owner is very attentive and helpful. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette and found it to be just the right combination of utility and rustic feel. We enjoyed the sound of birds chirping in the morning and the serene setting.

Super cozy spot to spend the night right on the Rogue River in Grants Pass. One of our favorite places to stay on our road trip from San Fransisco to Portland. Older construction. Cute and quirky. One of the most comfortable motel beds I've ever slept in. We had a private deck facing the river where we sat during the evening hours. Full size kitchen sink, gas cooking range, mini fridge, kitchen stocked with plates and utensils. A full size coffee pot! The owner was super nice and chatted us up when we rolled in. We stayed on a Wednesday night and it was a quiet and peaceful stop. Decent nightly

If you are looking for a five star hotel, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a unique, funky place to stay then you've found your spot. We stayed in trailer #3.

It was perfect for us - cute and retro. Retro as in orange counters in the bathroom, brown appliances in the kitchen and a cute vanity from the 60's or 70's.

The beds were comfy and clean, with the exception of the twins which were kind of like roll aways.

Great view of the river with a big bench swing that all four of us fit on.

There is definitely stuff that needs to be fixed and cleaned up
