Summit Laboratories, Inc. is an industrial water treatment company based in Denver, Colorado. We manufacture water treatment compounds for use in cooling towers, steam boilers, closed loop systems and waste water treatment applications. Summit Laboratories has been in business since 1986 and we currently service over 300 customers in the Rocky Mountain region.

Our products are added to boiler and cooling waters for the purpose of controlling deposits, corrosion, and microbiological problems. The benefits of a successful water treatment program include extended equipment life, maximum energy efficiency, reduced downtime while minimizing related health and safety issues.
Services
At Summit Laboratories we are proud to have three CWT on staff. The Certified Water Technologist (CWT) program represents the highest professional credential in the industrial and commercial water treatment field. Learn more about this accreditation. ISO 9001:2008 We have been ISO certified since 2002.
Summit Laboratories has been manufacturing water treatment chemicals in Denver since 1987. All of our products are blended, warehoused and supported from our Denver office. Chemical products are available in 5-gallon pails, 30-gallon drums, 55-gallon drums, returnable totes, and bulk. Drumless deliveries are also available and eliminate any handling of drums or containers by our customers.
Boiler water chemistry has a direct impact on boiler efficiency and fuel use. Improper water treatment will allow scale formation and corrosion. Scale insulates boiler tubes and requires increased fuel use. A moderately scaled 250 HP boiler consumes $37,000 more fuel than the same "clean" boiler. Corrosion reduces equipment life expectancy and requires capital expenses for repair.
Loop cleaning and new system cleaners. We use a multipurpose cleaner used to clean new and existing piping systems, for boiler boil-out and in cleaning new and operational cooling tower systems. It will penetrate, lift and disperse oil, grease, biofilm, and loose corrosion debris and mill residues.
Is your sand filter backflushing daily or more frequently? Only backflush when the pressure differential indicates a dirty sand filter. See your sand filter owner's manual for recommendations. If your cooling tower or boiler conductivity is not operating at its conductivity/TDS setpoint, find out why.
