Dr. Wentz attended Abilene Christian University and then went on to UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio. Since graduating, he has been proudly serving his hometown of Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Wentz is passionate about eye care and getting his patients to see clearly. Dr. Wentz enjoys spending time with his wife Kara and his son Graham, hunting, fishing, hiking, and time on the lake with family and friends.

This was my first visit with Dr Woodrich at this facility, which is state of the art and beautifully designed.
Scheduling and reception was beyond accommodating in getting my updated information and working with my schedule to get me in.
Dr. Woodrich is the perfect balance between professional and personal. She is very thorough in her practice all the while laughing with me and actually helping me enjoy my eye exam.
The entire staff made me feel like I was their most important patient. From taking extra time getting me comfortable with my contacts to professionally handling my indecisiveness

These guys are absolutely 100% class from top to bottom, from start to finish! I was just there yesterday and you could not ask for a more professional and kind staff. Dr. Wentz was just as knowledgeable and kind, as well as a respectful young man, as I had been told that he was. I found amazing frames in my price range(and that is not always easy) that I loved from the moment I saw them! I can’t wait to pick them up. I think I’ll actually wear my glasses in the future. 🤣 I would recommend Wentz + Woodrich Eyecare to everyone!

My husband, 2 children, and I all had our eyes examined by Dr. Woodrich. She was very friendly and took her time with us. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was also welcoming and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about this practice. It was the best experience with an optometrist we have ever had.
