This responds to the review posted by Ms. Medrano. Her account of our telephone communication is accurate but she misses the point of my declining to represent her mother. Simply put I can't represent some one especially in something as important as a Will if I can't communicate with my client. When a child brings an elder parent to make a Will I almost always ask the child to leave the room so I can speak privately with the older parent to make sure the older parent is not being influenced. Unfortunately that was not possible in this instance and that is why I declined the representation. Steven

I feel this place discriminates against people that speak other languages. I called because my mom was interested in coming in because she was interested in writing up a will. Mr. Friedman asked if my mom spoke English. I replied that she didn’t and Mr. Friedman said I can’t help and to go with someone who is bilingual. What kind of answer is that? I am the daughter and know how to speak English and can join her. So people that speak other languages don’t have a right to be seen and get help on writing up a will? If you want someone who is very responsive and does exactly what he says he is gonna do - this is your man. My mom passed and I still had to deal with my dad's estate as well. Mr. Friedman did both estates at the same time. Everything went according to plan and on the same time line he stated. It was quick once I was paid in full. Much cheaper than many other attorneys and it didn't drag out (maybe four months and we were done)! Mr. Friedman and his staff were amazing to work with!!!

I hired Steven Friedman to handle a probate matter for me He did a great job for me! He explained the process and handled every single matter quickly and professionally. He kept me in the loop whenever anything was filed with the court and as soon as anything was certified, he immediately sent to me. Never had to do probate before until my fathers passing. For me it was a very technical complicated process that you really want to have a well skilled experienced attorney that knows what they are doing. I could not have found a better attorney for this. I would highly recommend Mr. Friedman if you are also going through probate and trust what he says is the best option it will help you in the end.
