The spacious three bedroom model offers a large living area with fireplace and access to a private patio or balcony. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave oven, refrigerator (w/ice maker), serve through bar and huge walk-in pantry. Included in this model are two spacious bedrooms, guest bath and the large master bedroom complete with a walk-in closet and private master bath.

Decent place close to LSU. On the smaller side compared to some of the other apartments further from campus, but at the same price. Reasonably safe area within biking distance to campus. There is a pool, but no gym. One of the best perks of living here would be living within walking distance of American Market which sells snacks, alcohol, and freshly cooked food. VERY convenient!
My one complaint is that the first floor of the apartment I visited has carpet while the second floor has hardwood making the upstairs neighbors very loud. It's only that 1 apartment though.

When looking for apartments near LSU campus, Beau Chene is the best by far. With campus being just minutes away, Beau Chene provides a safe and quiet atmosphere for studying and student discounts for those who excel academically. The couple times we had something break, it was fixed within 24 hours of it being reported with no other problems. I believe that there is no better place in Baton Rouge to live than Beau Chene due to the safe atmosphere, location, students discounts, and amenities it provides.

This place is like a hidden gem. There are no better prices for 2-3 bedroom apartments, especially if you have a good GPA because of the good student discount. It’s also nice and safe with on-property officers and on the LSU bus route. My roommate doesn’t have a car so he uses it frequently. Couldn’t be in a better situation. Many of my friends are moving here because there is no better place for the value.

This place is phenomenal for its price. The property owner Jeff and his staff truly care for the well-being of the residents. I've never had to wait long for anything to be fixed. They have created a welcoming environment for all and especially with the good students discount, this is the best value for any properties in Baton Rouge.

In Baton Rouge, you pretty much get what you pay for. After living at Campus Crossings on Brightside for a year, I thought this would be a step down, but I'm paying like $60 less a month here for bigger rooms, faster work order responses, and an a really good internet plan (not included).
I'm writing this review today because I called in about my ac not working, and Jeff (the owner) came in literally 30 minutes later to check it out, and I believe it is actually working. At Campus Crossings, we had our AC broken for about a week or two.

I've lived at LSUs on campus apartments, the cottages, and campus crossing northgate. People have bad experiences at all of these mostly coming down to roaches and poor maintenance. Cottages even worse is known for mold and a shooting. Beau Chene however, is incredible.
You get wayyy more space for less money. You can basically afford a 1 bedroom for the same price as sharing a living space at other places. You get a nice garden style pool that is rarely used by others. I've never needed to submit a maintenance request because the units are well built and maintained. My favorite part is the units
