The campground is beautiful. It is heavily wooded with some great spots looking out over the lake. The bathhouses on the other hand seem to be forgotten by the owners. We went recently and they were filthy and all of the metal inside the bathrooms was coated in rust. They desperately need to spend money on the bathhouses.

I really want to put this at a five star rating but there is one thing they have to fix.. it's the fish! The fish there are basically non existent. You will catch 1 half a pound bass if you fish all day. The thing about the campground is the scenery it just beautiful. Site 27 is my favorite it's got the best view of the lake.

Our first time here. I've heard alot of great things about this place, so it was great to finally have the time to check it out. Getting there was pretty simple. We got to pass through a very small rural town. The entrance is very inviting. My first thought, this looked like a state park. But it was privately owned. I did some research and found out. It was a park ran by a state water district. It now on a 50 year lease to a local businessman . Park is very well kept. Front gate staff were friendly. I love the fact that , you need a code for after hours, to get in. We have been to plenty of

Big, hilly & nice. Visited Wednesday - Sunday ($171). Check in is 4pm check out is 3pm (every hour before or after that is an add'l $10). We stayed in site 20 (full hookup). Any trash left at your site is a $25 charge.
Bathroom facilities are old & run down but kept clean. Bait shop / grocery store opens randomly. All other campers are respectable & nice. Only spoke w/ the check-in workers & she was very nice. Very dark at night so if you get there at night it will be difficult to find your site. Grounds are very clean. There is a water park but we didn't

We had a great time spending our first Little Black Creek Halloween camping trip this weekend. For the last 10 years we've gone to Flint Creek and stayed in the cabins. Cabin 14 at Little Black Creek apparently updated their beds and they were sooooooo comfortable! Some of the best sleep I've gotten while camping!
Our cabin mates weren't able to come up with us due to work so they came up on Saturday morning. Early. They said the women in the office was rude to them and charged them to get in, even though they told her they paid for the cabin. They said she even shook her finger

Great campground. It's been fourteen years since we last stayed here. Now that it is family owned instead of the state of Mississippi there have been many improvements. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay and can't wait to return. Next time we will plan try out their boat rental and do a little fishing.

I just came from their annual Halloween event, a ridiculously poorly run event. Flyers all over the net say the event is from 3pm-6pm. We get there and not only have they raised the entry fee one hour before the event, but the kids costume contest was held an hour before the event was suppose to begin. We have one very disappointed child who didn't understand why there was no contest. We left, went back to the entrance to request our money back and complain about the times. All we got was attitude from the three women in the office. I had to show them the fliers on the net repeatedly because

My family has been multiple times to Little Black Creek Campground/Park, and we always have the best time. Sally Ann at the bait shop always takes good care of us! Once I was looking for some ingredients to make dinner, and they didn't carry it at the shop so she picked some up from the store when she was in town that night. That's service! We rented a kayak and a motor boat and our kids had a blast. Absolutely beautiful views on the lake. Can't wait to go back!

First time camping at little black creek in lumberton MS. We had an amazing time!! We rented a bungalow. It was clean and SO quiet!! We loved the site and it was maybe 15-20 feet from the beach front. The front office check in and check out host were very nice and knowledgeable. They had a burn band for over a week and the day we got there it was lifted. They sold firewood and any little thing we may have forgotten. The scenery was beautiful!! We all were amazed by all the squirrels running around. Everyone we came in contact with were super nice. I recommend this campground with 5 plus stars!

We camped with a group of friends and it was wonderful. So well maintained and clean, awesome sites with concrete pads, zip line, golf cart and canoe rental, beaches, just wonderful. The park offers small bungalows mixed in with the campers so you can still be together even if everyone doesn't have a camper. The views were breathtaking. Negatives were the bathhouse. I normally shower in the bathhouse because my camper shower is tiny but the set up left a lot to be desired in the way of privacy or a secure area in the bathhouse. There were also a lot of swarming little bugs -thank goodness
