Since 1971, West End Academy has been striving to reach students in Knoxville, Tennessee. Our individualized approach and smaller class sizes have proven to be successful in helping students to foster success and give them a hope for the future. Since 2004, our preschool has served children 6 weeks-Pre-K to prepare them for school and to give them a safe and loving environment to grow, thrive, and play.

Services
West End Academy (WEA) is a non-profit organization and private school serving children of all ages in Knoxville, TN. From 6 weeks-12th grade. Our school's purpose is to change educational outcomes. We have learned that education is not a one-size-fits-all approach. We strive to teach children not only for today, but to give them hope for a future.
I found the teachers at West End Academy to be extremely helpful and understanding. They took the time to address my personal needs and struggles; this helped me focus on my lessons and build my confidence. We love West End Academy! My kids have been coming here since they were babies! The staff are all so great.
Our mission is to provide full-time child care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years-of-age through educational activities that are age appropriate, carefully planned, and based on the Tennessee Early Learning Standards. We are founded and continue to grow in Christian principles and beliefs.

She has a passion for young people and knew the Lord was calling her to work with young people in a school setting. She appreciates every opportunity to work to make a difference. There is no better person to push our team forward by her generosity and constant dedication. She loves these kiddos with her whole heart!

My daughter has been attending West End Acadamy since she was 7 months old. Like any parents, we were super nervous to leave our daughter and return back to work. The ladies at West End have made us feel so comfortable from the very beginning and I am beyond thankful for every teacher she has had while attending. They truly take the time to let you know how much your little one is loved. I also have West End to thank for how much my daughter has learned while attending. She is almost 2 now and everywhere we go someone comments on how smart she is for her age. I am beyond thankful for everything

When we first moved to Knoxville from Florida we were worried about finding a preschool that would be good for our daughter giving her as much one on one attention as possible with a Christian curriculum. After searching for days through so many schools I contacted Ms. Dani (WHO IS AN ANGEL) and she was so communicative with me in getting us into West End Academy!
Since then we have felt nothing but at home over there, especially our baby girl. We know she is in the best care possible! Thank you, West End Academy for being an answered prayer for our little family! đź’•

West End Academy has been a blessing to our family. I remember feeling so broken and helpless when we suddenly lost our childcare last year for around eight weeks. Every daycare around had at least a one year waitlist. A few weeks in to calling, I found this gem known as West End Academy. I knew immediately, when Dani called me and let me come right over to tour, my prayers had been answered. My children have learned more in the last year than traditional daycare settings. The kids are learning and not just playing! They take health and safety seriously with all parents, students and teachers.

West End is a great place for kids to be safely cared for and educated. My son has been going here since birth and his teachers genuinely love and care for him. Everyone we come in contact with want what is best for our son. The facilities are clean and comfortable and administration is very approachable. We highly recommend West End.

My son started at West End Academy when he was around 4 years old in preschool. He attended until he was 8 1/2 last year. Once he became school age, he attended the after school program and summer program. The only reason he left is because we moved to Illinois and I wish I could find a place here that even comes close to comparing to West End Academy! I strongly recommend this place!

The teachers at West End Academy Preschool cared for my child for four years, and they were amazing!! The hands-on and outdoor learning is terrific! She learned so much from them and could think through things rather than just repeat answers, had so much fun that she loved going to school and still asks to go visit them, and most importantly - they made her feel safe and loved!

Our two daughters have been at West End the past 6 years at different times. This has been a great experience for both of them. The staff at West End has been beyond fantastic, they care so much for the kids at West End. I would highly recommend to anyone send their kids to West End, no matter their age.

My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was 6 weeks old. At the start we were nervous (much like any parent) that she wouldn’t adapt well or get enough love and attention. We quickly were relieved and fell in love with the choice we made! Our daughter loves her school and all of the teachers at the daycare! We have yet to have a teacher we don’t love.
