We ask our guests to adhere to social distancing guidelines in our facilities to keep us, our employees, yourself and our other guests safe through this pandemic. Whether it's relaxing in the sun, fishing off the dock or s'mores around the fire pit, Alhonna Resort offers you good old fashioned family fun right at the water's edge on beautiful Lake of the Ozarks!

Located at the 8 mile marker off Horseshoe Bend, the Alhonna Resort is owned and operated by the Gross family. Over the last 37 years, we have played host to thousands of visitors who have chosen again and again to call Alhonna Resort their home at the Lake!
Services
The original resort consisted of 8 rustic, knotty pine cottages and one bunk type room, underneath the owners quarters. Today, Alhonna Resort boasts 60 lakefront and lake view units. We offer a host of different types of accommodations from 1 room motels to deluxe 4 bedroom condo style units and cottages.
Located in various areas around the resort, our motel units adjoin to other units and may be combined for larger accommodations. Motel units do not have a view of the lake, kitchens or picnic tables. These motel units feature a queen size bed, a daybed (2 twins), full bath with tub/shower, a mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot.
These units offer a little more privacy, wood burning fireplaces, central air & heat, full kitchens with microwave and dishwasher, full baths with tub/shower combinations and a king size bed. Each has a private deck. Cottage 6 is tucked away behind the Restaurant and does not have a good view of the Lake.
Three beautiful pools await you at Alhonna Resort. The large heated indoor pool can be enjoyed March through November. Set in bay windows, 2 eight person capacity hot tubs await your pleasure in the indoor pool area. Our spacious outdoor pool, open May to mid-September, is set lakeside and has a fabulous view of the water.
If good, home made food and a comfortable atmosphere, is what you're "fishing" for. BOBBER'S RESTAURANT is the place for you and your family. Featuring a tasty selection of menu items and a great view, there is no need to travel further than your feet (or your boat or car) can take you! Bobber's Lounge offers a wide variety of cocktails and beer.

Was blown away with how nice Mike and the folks are up there, I went to check about getting my grand pa out on their dock to fish ( he's 93 and not very mobile), they were very helpful and made sure we had all we needed. I can't explain how much it ment to us that we were able to get him out of the house and go fishing possibly for his last time. You guys helped make his day!

Needs up dating asap. This place is so outdated the bed is just like sleeping on a cot in a day care. The furniture is outdated and worn-out there are daybeds in the rooms if you sit on them they have no support my sisters sat on one and almost hit the flood. This is not a place that will be returning too..

The wife and I just had a weekend getaway for our honeymoon / my 40th birthday. This resort was exactly what we wanted. Low Key, right on the water and quiet. Contrary to other reviews this place was properly updated and had a nice “Home” feel. We had unit 43 which was a King Bed loft with 1.5 baths… this was a huge unit for the price. There really wasn’t anything that we found to be a downfall here, just don’t expect the over priced glitter and glam of the other resorts around the lake. What you CAN expect is privacy, well appointed units, a quaint little bar and restaurant right on

Hi,
I booked this resort for two nights and the service was horrible. I will and suggest not to book this resort.
1- No internet (I mean it)
2- Toilet door never lock
When you ask the same customer executives said you will be charged extract for any change.(seriously).
Later day another lady told that ok we will shift you no cost but damage is already done.

Really cool place, tucked away at the LOTO. They have regular rooms that are inside the building, which looks pretty nice, but the real gem is the cabins they have on the water. Check them out, you'll be glad you did!!!

With all the options of places to stay around the lake, there is no reason to stay here. The use of the word "resort" is a major stretch! The cabins are very dated, beds are hard, the floors are buckling, and the coffee maker doesn't work. All that is provided is sheets, bath towels and hand soap. No pool towels. The parking is HORRIBLE! You have to park on a hill with a retaining wall right behind your car then walk down the steep hill to the cabin. I never tried the restaurant because it wasn't open for dinner. The only good thing was the pools and hot tub. Not worth the money!

Room was adequate, no coffee, no bath soap. No towels at the pools. Bar staff was efficient not overly friendly. Restaurant tried but food was moderate or less at best. No one greeted us and thanked us for coming. Office staff was friendly. Family reunion so we will probably return. Not a great value for the money.
