Jose and his crew are great. We've used them twice and been really happy with the results both times. Most recently, we had them do an "overlay" on a ledge outside our bedroom that was cracked and leaking water into the house. Jose explained the process in advance clearly. They were responsive, on time, friendly, fairly priced, and did such a good job in matching the final stucco finish color to the house paint that it looks like it was original. They did such a good job on the first project (a balcony repair) that I didn't bother to contact anyone else when I realized

I'm very pleased with their work. We had a balcony that didn't drain properly. I contacted Westcoast and received a fair quote promptly. Jose went above and beyond to ensure the work was done correctly and completed it in a timely manner. He is very professional, honest and great at community before and during the project. Jose and Westcoast re-surfaced and sealed my second-floor patio back in 2017. They did a good job back then. Unfortunately early this year, after a series of small earthquakes in SoCal, it started to show some cracks. Eventually water got in and wet my first floor ceiling beneath the patio after some heave rains. I called Jose to repair it. He responded immediately and sent someone to check on the damage. Although the damage was likely caused by natural causes, and mine is out of warrantee (they offer one year warrantee for most of their jobs), Jose takes pride of their work and offered to re-seal

I discovered my existing waterproof system on a set of stairs in my backyard had cracks and water soaked through. The water had caused dry rot, so not only did I need to repair the dry rot, I wanted to redo the whole waterproof system. Jose is very polite and courteous throughout the whole process. They had started the work, but I had a misunderstanding when it came to the initial proposal. Jose immediately halt the work and told me to take time to think about it. In the meantime they cleaned the entire project area. He insisted that he would not move forward, unless I am comfortable with my decision

I researched several companies and contacted Westcoast Waterproofing Systems in Irvine for a balcony & deck repairs. WWS was the most professional throughout the bidding process. The pricing was middle of the road for the scope of the project.
Unfortunately more damage was found after removing the old decking.
The crew was personable & the workmanship outstanding.
I had an excellent experience & I am very happy with the results. I highly recommend this company.

This is the second time I've used Westcoast Waterproofing Systems. The first time they diagnosed a problem causing a leak which we had for years which noone else could figure out or fix. WWS made the repairs and that completely eliminated the problem. More recently, WWS repaired a deck on top of our garage which was incorrectly laid out by another company causing water to drain improperly. Jose and his team did a great job redoing the grade of the deck and perfectly matched the paint to the existing deck. Jose and his team are great and I highly recommend them!

I found Jose and Westcoast Waterproofing through Yelp and I am glad that I did. I called multiple parties about my leaking rooftop deck and Jose was the first to respond. He set up an appointment quickly and provided a quote within a couple of days of the appointment. When the team arrived, they were professional, they wore masks, and they got on the roof without even coming through the house (which I did not expect). They showed me the damaged flashing and the progress of the work during the three days that they worked on it. The finished work product was blended well with the color of the roof

Due to termite remediation we recently needed balconies renovated and new waterproof flooring. Westcoast came out promptly, provided estimate that was in line with two other bids and began work quickly. Even with a weather delay they were able to finish on time. Jose is not like all the other flashy fast-talking salesman type of estimators, but he's honest, straightforward, and he gets the job done.
They gave me a price that was in the mid-range for our project (replacement of the top layer of a deck that was leaking in multiple places and replacement of a flat roof with skylights). I got about 6-8 estimates from multiple contractors.
Here are a few things that stood out:

Jose and his crew is by far the most honest, responsible and positive experience I've had through our major construction. If Jose or his guys say they will be at tour house at 9am, they will be out front at 8:55 waiting to come knock on your door.
