I have used O&L (aka DT Clean) for several years and have been very happy with them. Very easy to schedule via their online system, and they always show up promptly when scheduled. Recently, I moved and they did a "move-out" clean for me, and it was fantastic - they killed it. Since I moved out of their service area, I had to use two* other companies for my "move-in" clean - *when the first one didn't measure up to O&L, hired a second one, and it also did not measure up :(. I miss O&L!

Between my fiancé working nonstop and me being extremely pregnant, we haven't had the time or energy to clean our house. The bathroom is the hardest thing for me to clean, especially the bathtub and sliding glass doors. I scheduled them to work for an hour. I should have scheduled for longer because I underestimated just how long it would take to tackle the bathroom. They did a very thorough job and our bathroom sparkles. They were even able to vacuum the rest of our place. Next time I'll book them for longer so they can clean the kitchen as well.

The Maids talked on phone and to each other while working, they were not communicating to the company. Today was worst when the maids went to the end of the hallway of my building to talk to each other. They were loitering on the stairwell blocking the residence access to the stairs. They had their large equipment in the middle of the hallway blocking the residence from walking through the hallway and they had to walk around everything. I've found there can be a lot of unpredictability with cleaning companies and cleaners, but they have provided a consistant, professional cleaning EVERY TIME. They also are flexible and very communicative. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have had Oranges & Lemons clean my apartment three times so far and have signed up for a visit every three weeks. Our apartment was in real need of cleaning after two men and a large dog had been locked up there since March due to Covid- 19 (with my wife out of town tending to her mother). They brought in a team, seeing the scale of the job called for back-up help, and they left the place totally sparkling. The subsequent visits required less dramatic help but they have always been there on time, have been professional and effective, have minimized disruption as I took Zoom calls for work

I needed a last minute deep cleaning as I had been putting me cleaning list on the back burner for some time. The next morning the team was here on time and worked to make our apartment spotless. I love a clean stove tub and the tub was sparkling clean! They got the nooks and crannies I have been itching to get to but just didn't have the time. I'm super happy with the results and will likely call them again so that we can spend more time enjoying the weekend and less time cleaning. Worth every penny!

I've been using this service for 2 or 3 years. I'd definitely recommend this team for DTLA dwellers. The cleaners do a really great job and they're very nice. The online booking and SMS reminders are a nice, modern perk as well. They always ask for feedback after each cleaning, which is a very good business practice. I'm sure you can find an individual that will charge less, but you probably won't get the same level of professionalism or accountability. I had this company clean my high rise unit during my move out a few days ago. They stole from me. Had a brand new bottle of Dom my girlfriend gave me for my birthday (still in the gift box), which they took without asking. They also immediately asked for more time on the clock after only being there 20 minutes saying they couldn't complete the job in the allotted time. I pushed back saying they should be able to complete the job in 2 hours (normal cleaner does it in 2 hours and they had two people. Owner non responsive after stating his crew stole from my house. Would not recommend using this

I got a 4 hour cleaning from maids last week and they did an amazing job. My apartment has never been so clean. I've hired cleaners before from other companies and they never hit all the spots they did. They did things I didn't even expect like the inside fridge cleaning and organizing certain things. I have issues with my bathroom staying clean because the vent has very low suction and there is no window. So the resting water from a shower and lack of air flow allows dirt to accumulate easier. They cleaned it better than anyone has ever done. It's spotless. I highly recommend them.

Eva and Frankie were amazing! I definitely presented them with a challenge and they rose to the occasion! They are very friendly but stay focused to get the tasks done timely....I'm honestly amazed and what they accomplished in just 3 hours! I used Oranges & Lemons for the initial deep clean of a 1600sq ft 2bed/2bath apartment and by the time they left ,the place was sparkling. I will definitely use them for regular bi-monthly service going forward, and highly recommend them!

Broke my dryer and was in contact with their folks for a time to discuss repairs and then I was ghosted. Recently tried to book service and requested a discount to make up for the dryer repairs and they never reached back out to confirm appointment.
Stuff may break when strangers are cleaning your place. I have no problem with that, but just acknowledge and provide a discount on the next service and I'll be happy. Ignoring me was unprofessional.

Your service truly did exceed my expectations. When your crew arrived, one of the team members told me that my loft would "sparkle" when they left and sparkle it did! I don't have a regular housekeeping service mostly because I feel that I clean my home better than those I have hired in the past. Cleaning lofts and apartments in DTLA has to be one of the most arduous tasks for housekeepers, it is not an easy job to conquer. With windows left open, greasy exhaust floating in, combined with black hair from our two large Labradors, and absence of a professional cleaning in some months it was a daunting task that I had neither the time nor the… inclination to conquer before my mothers impending arrival for Thanksgiving.
