Are you tired, aching for change in your life? Maybe feeling something uncomfortable that you can't explain other than worried, depressed, stressed out, off, or even unfulfilled? Is faith an important part of your life, but don't have a space to talk about it in relation to mental health? I can help.
Let's bring some clarity to your life situation and equip you with tools to better navigate the road. I help anxious, stressed out Christians, learn how to calm their mind and move from feeling like they will never be good enough into feeling confident and more at peace with themselves.

Services
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #93574. I practice psychotherapy because I believe that people naturally have the talents to live authentically, with rich and meaningful relationships. I've seen so much shame and stigma within the church community and it brings me great joy to partner with clients to help them increase self-compassion, authenticity, and find healing and feel better.
Individual therapy is a collaborative experience and I take an eclectic approach to treatment. I work with issues such as: life transitions, anxiety, depression, personal growth/self-esteem, LGBTQ+ issues, recovery, religious trauma, stress management, and trauma. Don't see an issue you have listed?
Do you need support and direction with finding your way as a mental health clinician? Even if you already have a supervisor, a mentor can still provide alternative support and guidance. Mentoring is a relationship focusing on supporting the clinical development of the mentee. This relationship is built upon a partnership between the mentor and mentee.
My professional experience includes working in both agency and private practice settings. I have also completed extensive acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) trainings and am a Certified Domestic Violence Facilitator. As individuals, I believe we are all on a lifelong journey of learning and growth.
Sessions start with some information gathering about you. This beginning time is for me to get to know you, so that I can better assist you with your presenting problems. I'll ask you what's bringing you to therapy. We'll come up with goals together and ways we can address them. During our course of treatment together, I'll evaluate our progress either through a confidential online survey or verbally.

If you are struggling with hard questions about life, transitions, identity, or self-esteem that you're scared to say out loud for fear of being dismissed, judged, or ridiculed, Priscilla will be a great support and comforter. I'm all too familiar with censoring myself around others, but it's so freeing and validating to just say it with Priscilla, knowing that my process matters.

Priscilla has continued to provide positive insights while remaining compassionate and well informed of community resources. She is professional, respectful and role models how to take care of overall wellbeing. I believe it is necessary to be able to form a trusting relationship with the one I am in therapy with and with Priscilla it can definitely work.

Furthermore, Priscilla realizes that we, as human beings, present with varying needs; she works to ensure that those needs are met by strategies best suited for the client. I also appreciate the fact that she is always striving to keep up with current research in an effort to best help her clients.

Priscilla is someone that is easy to talk to. She makes me to be able to open up and be myself when I'm around her. I also feel very much at ease talking to her. I always look forward to spending time and talking through my issues and I appreciate that she's very good listener. She also provides a lot of positive feedback and encouragement. She creates a safe space, is super passionate and I highly recommend her.
