Everything about this hotel was magical. I stayed for two nights with my family during the Ice Bar and everything had been well thought of in advance. From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptional; the servers at Bella Vita were knowledgeable and amicable, the three massage therapists each of my family members had did excellent jobs and the security staff, especially Mike, was so helpful. The grounds were well maintained, views were incredible and overall atmosphere was a 10/10. Will definitely be back to see the lake in the summer. Would be an excellent stay for a romantic trip as well

Almost no matter where you are you get amazing views. The place is beautiful. The service sets this place apart. Criag and Brandon at the front desk are proactive in finding ways to help. Food and drinks at belle vita are great. Servers Brooke, Andrew and Cerse are attentive and knowledgeable. Hendrick gives the best deep tissue massage.

Seriously charging $25.00 a person to go to the icebar. It’s totally ridiculous. You charge $15.00 a drink and expect people to now pay $25.00 just to come. They say this is because of covid but I can guarantee this charge will never go away. There are many other cool icebars in the Lake George area that are free. I guess we won’t be going to the Sagamore.

This hotel is on one of the finest lakes in the world. It doesn't matter what time of year it is, this place delivers. The staff, decor, and food are all worthy of the name historic hotel. It's truly historic. You can't help but feel special walking down the halls, grabbing a bite to eat one of the many restaurants, and taking advantage of the beauty that is lake George. This is a bucket list hotel choice if there ever was one. The golf course is off site and kind of far away and there are in my opinion better choices than that off site course, but I would play it once just for the signature hole

We went there for a few days to get away after our wedding. The weather was perfect, the place was not crowded because it's after the summer. We had a lot of it to ourselves. The massages were great. The spa was pristine and clean and beautiful. The restaurants were amazing, the service, the friendliness of everybody and the food fantastic. We got to lay out in the sun by the indoor pool which is halfway outdoors and we had the jacuzzi to ourselves we will be back . We left our coats there and they sent them to us no charge. Thank you too Mike Pratt and to Bob in security who checked on our delivery

The Sagamore was our dream wedding venue, and it definitely did not disappoint! We had to postpone a couple of times due to Covid, and we ended up having our celebration at the Sagamore a year after our small ceremony. Lori and Kathryn were very helpful as we changed our plans, and they answered our many questions. Vicky was incredible with helping us secure rooms for all our guests. Once we arrived, Laura at the front desk was so helpful with everything we needed. Our suite was amazing, and all of our guests said it was the most beautiful venue they’d seen. This is a great place to stay. My wife and I wanted to get away for a romantic weekend. Fantastic hotel located right on Lake George. Room had a great view of the lake. Dinner was on the terrace watching the sunset over the lake. Definitely was a place to rekindle some romance in our lives. Spa was great too with really nice people too. I run a lot, so my wife booked me in for a deep tissue massage for my legs. My therapist (I think his name was Hendrick) did a great job, maybe best I've ever had. Definitely would recommend and hope to get back again.
