Services
During May we prep fields; June we plant; August we prune and by September you can experience the harvest. We spend our winters processing the crop and producing CBD products for sale. In addition to tours, we offer farm stays, events, weddings, and educational seminars and classes. We follow all guidelines for organic certification and do not use pesticides or herbicides.
Stevia is a low-glycemic plant derived sweetener. Stevia is part of the Asteraceae family, related to daisies. Stevia rebaudiana, is native to Paraguay and Brazil, where people have used its leaves to sweeten food for hundreds of years. Derived from the coconut blossom it is hand-harvested and certified fair trade from Indonesia.
Located five miles outside of Paonia, Colorado, the 20 acre farm is surrounded by 350 acres of neighboring farmland. The West Elk Mountain Range sets the backdrop for your wedding ceremony. The grounds are landscaped with stunning flower gardens, views of the fields and pond in the back ground. The main house has wrap around veranda for guests to mingle and socialize.
It's so important to keep plastics out of the soil when growing hemp (or anything really!) and that's exactly what ZenZen Organics farm does. The work & time & love that go into these products really shows through in the effectiveness they have. I use the salve on myself and my massage clients and it helps greatly!
CBD is short for the word Cannabinoid, which is a naturally occurring substance derived from the hemp plant. CBD is not marijuana and is not psychoactive. You should not feel altered or sedated. CBD is being studied to see if it can help with many ailments, especially, stress, anxiety, insomnia and inflammation.
