Alterations Express advertises "pants shortened while you wait". I went in to get the pants I was wearing shortened. They told me they couldn't do it because I didn't have a pair to put on while they shortened the pair I was wearing. FALSE ADVERTISING. At best, incomplete advertising. I've done business there for 15+ years but will find another shop now.

Screwed up everything I took to them, including an $800 ski outfit. I got the impression that their so-called seamstresses get paid on quantity not quality. They are by no means professional seamstresses. I took home economics in high school, and I could do a far better job than they did. I will never take anything to them again, and in the future, I will seek out a professional seamstress or tailor for any alterations.
