The manager is disrespectful and unprofessional towards customers and the staff. High turner over isn’t a good look. I’ve started dealing with Anchorage as the Fairbanks branch is such a head ache.

Updated review:
It's been an experience to say the least. The first few years of owning Sprinter vans, I had some pretty terrible results from this shop. During one repair, their tech unplugged my battery heater from the main block for some unknown reason and left it that way without informing me, causing a frozen battery, and lost revenue for a missed operation and canceled tours. They never owned up to it and I was forced to replace the battery out of pocket. All in all, this cost me a few thousand dollars.
More recently the experience has been a bit better. Their shop manager/service writer

Staff are friendly, work is fine. Service manager Jason Alexander is rude, childish, and unprofessional. Hate to write a bad review but that is some end of the road/ I don’t care customer service. Never again.

Most of the time when you have a technical question or looking for parts whether they're at a dealer or in their service department they are pretty much next to useless. They do have good technicians and do good mechanic work but as far as getting information from them as a dealer and might as well call somebody else

We had a trailer hitch and wiring installed here. It was a nightmare. Just a nightmare to deal with, poor communication, poor service, poor management (see overly-detailed description below).
On my initial phone encounter they quoted me 500 for parts and labor, with parts arriving in 2-3 weeks. Took a little over 3 weeks. I dropped the car off at 8am for installation. Got a call saying it was done. They didn't do the wiring as I requested. So sent it back in. Got a call saying they don't have the part they need, will take a few days to get in and the cost will be 780 total. Frustrated, I called

Critical: Value
Great costumer service and response over the phone. No issues there. However, as my local Western Plow Reps, there hourly rates for a quotes were astronomical and they changed me 2 hrs of labor to assess the problem without even fixing the issue. I do not recommend them unless you have deep pockets..

Simple trailer Hitch installation on a Ford Flex. After they made an error ordering the part, they said it would take 2 hours to install.... after dropping it off at 8am... which morphed into it being completed after hours at seven pm — Then come to find out it was wired backwards with the trailer turn signals switched. Another half day for them to fix. I would highly recommend another place.

I'd say pretty average service. We bought a used boat and trailer and brought it there for inspection of the trailer. Pros: able to get us in quickly. Diagnosed and repaired on site. Boat trailer needed new wiring as it has been cut. Replaced drum brakes which were no longer functioning. Cost seemed comparable to other shops. Cons: after a week of repairs, called to pick it up and none of the lights (left, right, and center strip) were fixed despite the repair being on the invoice. The representative apologized quickly. So had to leave the trailer at the shop. Returned a second time and brought

I had a goose neck hitch, and a 7 wire plug installed. I dropped my truck off the day before the appointment and asked how much the install would be. I was informed that I would get a call before any work was done with an estimate. I was contacted the next afternoon to inform me that they had not completed the install. I asked how much it was, and it was over double what Six Robblees was going to charge. I would never have agreed to pay double, never. They dropped the rate because they had already started the work, and it was still $300 over their competitors rate. I couldn't recommend TrailerCraft

Found out the hard way that their warranty is limited only to parts and not labor. I spent over $11,000 to get a turbo replaced along with DPF filters replaced that were ruined from oil flowing through the turbo into the exhaust. After driving less than 1000 miles the new turbo also failed and same problem happened. However, when I took it back to them, I was told that only the turbo (about $2,200) was under warranty so I'd be looking at about $9000 to get it fixed again. At least this time, they were upfront enough to tell me to take it to RWC where all parts and labor would be covered

We were told it would take an hour and it ended up taking 4. A few hours after leaving they called us to let us know that a tool had been left in the car, after working that out, we then got another call stating they had charged us the wrong amount and we either had to drive the 30 minutes back to pay another $180 or give our card info over the phone. The staff was rude and it was all very unorganized, something that should have been simple turned into a huge hassle, it's hard to trust that the job was done right after witnessing how unorganized they were.

The staff at Trailer Craft is top notch. They performed the services we needed on our Winnebago View in a professional manner. They explained everything, answered every question, never rushing us. We had no idea that some of the work was covered under warranty..they did. Derek was especially helpful! I wouldn't hesitate to bring my vehicles here! Thank you very much.

I had bought a trailer brake controller from them a year ago. Recently, when the season started again, I found it was not functional right as we were going on a road trip. I brought it to them with no notice to see what could be done. Apparently it was not wired anymore due to the laziness of another place in town which worked on my car. They spent at least a half hour wiring the car. Thanks luke, you guys saved my camping trip

While on the road from NY touring Alaska in our 2015 Winnebago View, we unfortunately required repairs. The extremely knowledgeable and professional staff actually fit us into their busy schedule, ordered the necessary parts and had us on our way in warp time. The courtesy extended to us as customers by Talon in the service dept was above any I have experienced in a retail/service situation. As we had occasion to be seated near the service desk (in a very comfortable waiting area), I had occasion to witness all the service employees attending to their customers with the very same courtesy and professionalism

What can I say, these guys are the best! We had some serious problems with our travel trailer during our trip to Alaska. We actually busted a piece off our chassis while driving up the Alaska Highway, and needed someone to weld it back together for us. (Watch out for those frost heaves). One of the steel plates that the shackles attach to had broken. It seems that the manufacturer had only tack-welded those plates, instead of doing a full weld. Trailer Craft was recommended to us by some of the local folks who live in Anchorage. Talon Armor, the service writer who took care of us, is a terrific

Absolutely impressed! We had our company vehicle in Anchorage from Colorado and having been driven the 3,200 miles and were headed back to Colorado after our van had sat for 6 months in Alaska. Talon, the Service Writer, had excellent communication in regards to our Freightliner van. The technician stayed extra late the evening we brought the vehicle in to complete the job so that we could have our vehicle in time to hit the road. We were extremely pleased with this company!
