Computer recycling has become one of the most important tasks facing the recycling industry. Every year millions of computers and electronics become obsolete, yet only 10% of those computers actually get recycled properly. What we offer is top prices for your computer and electronics recycling, and the opportunity to save the environment.
Bluff City Metal Recycling offers Commercial Metal Recycling services for all your needs and provide a conveniently located facility right of Highway 20 & Bluff City Blvd. Our facility offers heavy machinery to help unload any haul size, an onsite truck scale certified by the state of Illinois to ensure the recycling process is quick and efficient.
Bluff City Metal Recycling will recycle all of your appliances. On the average, 75 percent of the weight of a typical household appliance is steel, of which 25 percentage points of this comes from recycled steel. Over 90% of all appliances are recycled in the US. Recycling steel vs producing virgin steel in the US saves the equivalent energy needed to power 17 million homes.

The workers have no idea what they’re doing. Can’t tell the difference between junk metal and Electric Motors. They’ll pay you the least they can. Rip offs, and their yard is filthy, lots of nails laying around to flatten tires, better off going to Bens Global.

Would not recommend doing business with this company. They quoted me a higher price over the phone. After I unloaded my truck at the Spalding location they paid less per pound than the original quote. I called back again and the girl in the office quoted me the higher price. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN ! If you want fair and honest pricing go to S & S In Aurora.

I had a bunch of steel and aluminum that was scrap. I called bluff city metals to make sure they would take everything since it was close to closing and I didn't want to load it if I couldn't get rid of it. The girl on the phone said of course and it wouldnt be a problem. So I loaded the truck and drove in and was informed they would not take the steel. They would take only the aluminum. They then told me i would have to go to another site of theres to unload the steel. So i will no longer be doing business with them. I then proceeded to go to bens global recycling which is very close. 368 bluff

These guys have no idea what they are doing. Huge rip off. Called to see what the price of bare bright is and the highest price they give is number one copper. So they treat your bare bright the same as number 1 Copper. What a joke

We had 287 pounds of scrap metal and they paid us only $11.00!!!! All that hard work and that didn't even cover the gas money we used to collect the scrap metal and bring to them.

Ana lied to us by telling us that the radiators would be .80 per lb. We had ornate vintage radiators made out of cast iron. Had she told us .09 per lbs as scrap, we would have done business elsewhere. She misled us to get the metal, and then changed their story once they picked everything up. Shady and wrong, is how I would describe this business. I spoke with Hugo, who claims he had no idea what is going on. We would have gotten about $200 per radiator on the open market. I would not do business with people like this and am very disappointed with their behavior.
