Christi's Cafe

Loved the food but the best part was how great the service was. We got there when they were about to close in 15 min and they still let us in and served us with hot fresh food. I wish there were more places like this that are small businesses that treat you good. I was afraid all the small businesses were gone. Oh, and the steamed broccoli is the best I've had anywhere!

The food was good and filling. Our server was nice and came back to check up on us despite it being busy. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend going there. Christi's sweet tea is good and highly recommended!

I recently joined some coworkers here for a late lunch. As a girl growing up in the Highlands, I must admit that I don't think I'd ever been that far out Dixie Highway. But man was the drive worth it! The business has plenty of parking and you can't miss the bright pink and black building. We sat ourselves and were quickly greeted. Just a good mom and pop style diner. Don't expect anything to blow your socks off amazing. It's good food at a good price with large portions.

Mom got liver and onions, which you hardly see on a menu anymore. Her plate was loaded down. I think the cook forgot how to count how many slices of liver to serve. I think she got 4 slices.

I got the country ham and eggs. it was very good. I liked this place so much we went back for a second visit. this would be my go to place if I lived in The area for sure.

This place isn't your take your time to sit down and relax for awhile cafe.
Once You walk into the place,  you'll be greeted with a hurricane of servers and customers. Where the moment you sit down it's time to order and get your food out quick.
This place never seems to be empty at any hours in the day when driving by and for good reason too,  the food ain't bad at all.
So eat up, drink up and be on your way full and happy.

Very friendly environment. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by Wanda who took our drink orders and provided great fast service. This place is busy, and I see why. The sausage patties are delicious and seasoned to perfection. Food is like homemade. Coffee is good and piping hot just how we like. Will be back. Love this place! The place was very busy when I first arrived. There was a lot of confusion and three different parties were seated before me. The staff apologized and all I can say it was worth the wait. The service was impeccable and fast. The food was delicious and I cleaned my plate. The portions were worth every penny.

Hadn't been here in years. Stopped in for a late lunch. I had the grilled Buffalo chicken wrap and chips. It was delicious. Spicy and moist My boyfriend got liver and onions (yuck). He was in heaven. He can't wait to go back. My brother and sister-in-law both had burger and fries. The both enjoyed it. Nice size burger

Friendly servers, easy to get in (I hate waiting for breakfast). I like their coffee, biscuits and gravy and pancakes.

The food was absolutely amazing, there are several burger options, you can get the big mouth burger, which is an 8 ounce hand Pattied fresh never frozen burger- you can get that in a double, single, or triple.

They also offer the big Dixie challenge, that is three, 1 pound all beef fresh never frozen patties stacked high.

Breakfast is served from open to close, 6 AM until 9 PM seven days a week. They have fresh soup, fresh salads, fresh chicken, steak, burgers, liver and onions, the list goes on, the menu is truly gigantic this is a South Dixie local original and a must try.

I stopped in here for lunch while working nearby and just had to give the liver and onions a try (being a southern boy and all). It did not disappoint! This is a lively little diner but that didn't stop the food from coming out quickly nor did it keep the staff from being attentive. Quirky atmosphere, good food, and excellent service will bring me back here the next opportunity I have! Thanks for a good lunch, guys!

Went here for dinner with my husband. They were of course packed but the food is always, usually so good so we expected that. A couple was sitting at a huge table and said we could sit with them, so we did! The food is so good it makes you want to sit with strangers at the same table to eat 😂. Our waitress was awesome, she took our orders and brought everything out in a timely manner. Everything was hot and fresh and tasted amazing! We got fried pickles to share, deliciousness. Been meaning to eat here for months, and finally stopped by when family was in town...it did not disappoint. The bacon ranch burger was delicious, my husband's bbq burger was great too. I don't like onion rings unless they are pretty crunchy, and their's really hit the mark. I loved them and so did my husband. The portions were great, so we couldn't finish quite everything, but we really wanted too! The sweet tea was great too. Our waitress was really attentive and had an overall pleasant demeanor, like she enjoyed working here. Thank you for a great meal and experience!!

You won’t find a better restaurant around. Located in the Southwest part of Louisville not far from the river. Parking is plentiful with a large gravel lot. Don’t let the size of the building fool you as the layout is perfect with plenty of table space. They do stay busy so the best time is as soon as the open or about the 1pm hour. Today I have the chili omelette with home fries. The do have a few specials each day listed on the dry erase board by the countertop.

Food! Oh my gosh. Country cooking, burgers, breakfast, friendly service! Awesome place...makes you feel welcome! Only place I know where you can still get liver and onions. Good home cooking.

Stopped at Christi's while passing through town. I was craving some home cooking and after looking at the menu and reviews, this fit the bill. Came in around 1:15pm on a Saturday and holy cow was this place packed! The best places usually are. Although the place was busy, there was substantial parking. We even had a trailer and had not problems. Inside is hot pink everywhere, with a diner meets Breakfast at Tiffany's feel. Odd combo but it works.

It was extremely hard to figure out what to order as everything sounded so good and all the food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious

My hubby and I ate here before attending a tour at Waverly Hills. The food was delicious & the service was friendly and quick. We will definitely come back

Love this restaurant. Great food. Great servers. Needs to be bigger inside. The food is so good. Busy all the time. That's great. I fell in love with the bacon cheeseburgers and the deep fried hamburger patty coated with a coating and mashed potatoes. Yummy.

We have gone 3 times now and I have gotten 3 different types of meals and been so very happy every time!
They have breakfast and lunch and dinner items and I have tried their sampler breakfast with french toast and loved it!
I tried an omelet with some bacon and normal breakfast fixins and loved it!
The last time I got a burger and honestly it's the best burger I've had in Louisville. And lemme tell you: I love a good burger and have tried so many and been so disappointed. This place hasn't disappointed me yet!!
We will be back and I am sure we will get an exceptional waitress

What a great evening! My wife and I have been wanting a sit down meal in a small personal place.
Christy's is a small locally owned and operated Café with some of the best food available. Great prices as well. Huge portions, cant forget to mention the portion size.
My wife had the Dinner special, Salmon Croquettes with mashed potatoes and gravy, and fried Okra. I had the Big Dixie Burger (full pound of beef) fully dressed with pepper jack cheese, with great onion rings.

Service was great, our server (Wanda) was super attentive. Our food came quick and piping hot.

This place has been on my radar for quite sometime. I decided for Yelps Big Night In. I'd support a local restaurant that I have never been to. I don't know why I have put off this place for so long but, I'm very glad I chose this place.

I called in my order for curbside pick up, I got an answer right away. Everything went quickly and smooth over the phone and was told my order would be ready in 10 minutes. There's no substitute for good cooking, and Christi's guarantees exactly that. A friendly, attentive wait staff no matter how many customers are there (and usually, there are many) and a variety of great food that suits anyone. The Big Dixie Burger is next level, and the server, Heather, is one of the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet. You can't go wrong with a visit to Christi's Cafe!

After running errands and having no idea what we wanted - we ventured over to Dixie Highway.
It had been over a year since we had the ability to stop in and eat.
He got the Dixie burger with bacon and fries.
The bacon was worth the add on he said. The fries .. mmm so good.
I always joke about needing a sampler when we go out to eat especially somewhere new. They have ONE!
The breakfast sampler came with a pancake . Yes I most definitely did add chocolate chips! WOW I didn't even use the syrup.
The sausage was burnt- they replaced with a piece that was cooked perfectly.

The Yelpmigos were finally back together so of course we had to go somewhere we never been before. We saw this on our recommendations and thought why not. It's right off Dixie Highway if you pass the Gene Snyder if you're going to Fort Knox. It's not hard to miss because it is the only building that is covered in pink, black and white.

The inside is kinda small but not to the point where you are sitting on top of each other. It also had photos of famous people from the 50's like Marilyn Monroe and Elvis The menu is nothing but comfort food and it's pretty cheap for how

I like Christi's. I have driven past it a few times before coming in and it's always caught my eye with the pink decor on the outside. I am not usually on the Dixie Highway side of town, but when the Yelpmigos were looking for a good place for dinner, Christi's was our first idea.

It's a tiny little diner, but it's cute. The inside is decorated in pink and has tons of photos on the wall of old-time celebrities and movies, like Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. It definitely gave off that classic hole-in-the-wall Southern spot.

Cool little cafe tucked away on Dixie towards ft Knox. I have stopped there a few times on my lunch break.

Decently priced and I have yet to have a bad experience or bad dish.

Decorations consist of pink and vintage photos (mainly Marilyn Monroe). They have there on little gift shop where they sell branded merchandise for themselves.

All in all neat place. I want to go try the breakfast there eventually.
