John Cressend has been instrumental in helping me work out issues with the Louisiana Department of Revenue. It's quite scary to get letters in the mail from the State claiming that you owe them more money, but John has helped me remedy the "debt" and the letters. He is very professional but speaks about taxes at a level anyone can understand.

I have done my taxes for as long as i can remember online using H&R Block. I do not like paying people for a task I can do myself. That being said, within the last few years both my wife & I have been earning extra income and have received 1099 forms, so I was going to get hit hard on my taxes. I went to high school with John, so i looked him up and I have been going to him ever since. When it was all said and done, he got me back more money than i had gotten years prior, with the extra income & after his fee. John Cressend is probably the best accountant an individual could ask for. The mark of a professional, in my opinion at least, is being able to anticipate a clients needs based on what is known about the client's family and job demands. I cannot stress how expertly and professionally John has handled accounting for me. I have experienced on more then one occasion, an issue where I thought I had dropped the ball on something, only to find out that John had anticipated and remedied the situation before it could become a detriment to my personal finances.
