Absolutely horrible! My husbands grandma is here and they do little to nothing to help her. She’s very sick and they wouldn’t take her to the hospital or order her correct medication to help her. The place wasn’t clean and my MIL was helping and cleaning her up more than the staff. Some members of the staff were INCREDIBLY rude! After our last visit my car got a flat and we left it there for 25 min to get equipment to fix it and they cussed at us and were yelling at us repeatedly to move our car that again had a FLAT TIRE, that we were already in the process of trying to fix! Closes place to a nursing concentration camp on the planet! High Mortality rate and your family members have better chances surviving covid being unvaccinated than to ever walk out of this facility alive again! The staff members or corrupt and negligent to say the least. Unless you are purposely wanting to put your loved one on their death beds don't place them in this facility. Its all smoke and mirrors with them saying and doing anything it takes to get their hands on your money convincing you that they will "care for your family member." Its a prison for patients who go in but never come back

My Uncle resided at Tanglewood off and on for two years. While at first we had concerns because of some of the reviews we read we soon discovered what a wonderful caring place Tanglewood really is. The staff went out of their way to make my Uncle comfortable and to provide activities for him to keep him entertained. I was often amazed at the ideas they came up with and the way they thought "out of the box" to address his individual needs. Finding the right fit for a relative is difficult at best. I came into Tanglewood from the hospital late on a Sunday afternoon. There was a miscommunication between the hospital and Tanglewood which resulted in my medications not being applied correctly. I became upset because the night nurse would not take my word that the meds were wrong. Consequently, I left a horrible review of the facility based on an inaccurate first impression. The next day, the Administrator, the Asst. Dir. of Nursing, Dietary Director, and several other staff met with me to address my complaints. Called with questions about placing a family member here, toured the facility and looked great. Was concerned I wouldn't be allowed to do much due to COVID, but management was amazing and worked with me. I was also concerned I wouldn't be able to visit my family member, but was informed that they do window visits so I was able to visit. I have worked in the nursing industry before and I have seen some terrible Nursing homes and this is not as bad as people say it is.

I was sent here for rehab after congestive heart failure and diabetic issues. I need to regain my physical strength. The PT, OT, and ST folks were great. Some of the professional nursing staff are also great. Unfortunately, the majority of the nursing staff, especially on night shift, were inattentive, disrespectful, and rude. They have no respect for the residents and treat everybody like we are little senile old people on our deathbeds and not worthy of being treated like intelligent adults. I am only here for physical rehab... not skilled care. Also, I am not allowed to have a diabetic or heart

The review about nurses throwing medications away is totally a lie. The incident was not done by a nurse and was investigated thoroughly by the administration staff. This nurse as all staff are not privy to to disciplining of other staff members. Of course! The facility works very hard for the residents and gives five star care! We are a 4 star facility on the CMS Casper Report and a continuous quality improvement program facility. Obviously we have our share of disgruntled employees who choose to not be part of our wonderful team of Nursing at Tanglewood. Our residents rehab to home with support

This nursing home is the reason nursing homes get bad names. As you walk in the front door the overwhelming stink of old and new urine hits you. My mother stayed here for a week, which was far too long. The staff was unprepared for her needs and unskilled. Her room was never cleaned during her stay and the BM on the toilet from her roommate was only cleaned off because my mother did it before she could use the bathroom. My mother wasn't bathed during her stay. The staff had multiple excuses for all the reasons why she wasn't fed, bathed, given meds, etc. This was a horrid place and should be shut

Never allow your loved ones to be sent to this place. I am absolutely disgusted at the lack of care that was provided for my father. He spent three days there, which was three days too many. The facility was filthy and his room was only cleaned after my mother threatened to call the state with complaints. My father's room did not have a bedside table for him to be able to eat meals until the last day he was there when the facility was alerted he was leaving due to poor conditions. To give Tanglewood Health and Rehabilitation a 1 Star is a stretch. I am thoroughly disgusted by the deplorable conditions of this facility. As a long time healthcare provider and hospital administrator this facility fails to provide care that is consistent with human dignity.
