Had a Great time staying in the "Kemah" cabin.

This place was like having a little piece of heaven, and I'm just going to be honest, being a person of color and hearing some of the horror stories I've heard about Vidor and people of color, I had my reservations about pull the trailer here, but, we where treated very kindly the grounds keeper even took time out of his day to come over and help get the heating system in the trailer to work again. Not one time was I ever made to feel that my presence wasn't welcome there. That really made a big difference and it meant a lot. You guys are awesome 👌

We LOVE our spot backing up right to the Lake. It’s not only one of the most affordable parks around, but this resort is gigantic and has many spot options with different prices. Additionally, the cost of electric for monthly rates is only 9 cents per KWH… that’s the lowest I have ever seen.
They also have to most amenities I have ever seen in an RV resort. Clean and updated laundry room, lake with boat launch, clean showers, big game room with free coffee, very nice gym, hot tub and pool, office space with computers, the list doesn’t end.
My one and only complaint is the Wi-Fi. I see

I'm giving 1star because it is relatively cheap and 1 more star because it has full hookups.
This place is right on I-10, as in you can feel the rush of wind and the rumble of the tires as the trucks go past. Very loud and noisy. Sites are barely graveled, surrounded by mud, and not level. I should have stayed overnight in a rest area or public parking lot.

Absolutely perfect! My husband and I were traveling through so we just stopped for one night but was so pleasantly surprised by everything! Even down to the Bath House/Pool area had high end tables, BBQ pit area with a ‘live-edge’ bar - They have thought of everything! We enjoyed the Hot Tub as well! Whoever owns this RV Resort did a top notch job on every inch - even down to a dog wash station and a little shed with extra bicycles for anyone who’d like to ride! The girl at the front desk was a sweet as pie - She answered all of our (my) questions re: dinner recommendations! Thank you sweetheart
