Alexsander Cornejo started working in the trades right out of high school, in 2009. He loved how he was able to create beautiful things with his own hands, so in 2019 Alex became licensed as a contractor. One year later, he founded Cornejos Builders. Born and raised in Los Angeles in a minority family, Alex wants to give back to the city he grew up in, so his job is more than a job to him.
Through his work, he wants to send a message of hope and inspiration: any dream can be achieved, no matter where you come from, if you put in enough work and dedication. Los Angeles' population is on the rise and the housing crisis is leaving the city in major need of upgrades. But that doesn't mean you and your family can't have your dream home.

After browsing some time to find a contractor that met our standards, we finally had the pleasure to work with Cornejos Builders. From the beginning of the project to the end Alex and his team committed to being consistent with communication in every aspect and was extremely informative when we had any questions regarding the project. They turned our existing garage into a comfortable and livable space which is exactly what we wanted! The garage was converted into an ADU and was completely renovated from inside and out. I had the pleasure of working with Alex and his team for a massive home renovation and remodel. What started out as kitchen renovation, grew into two bath remodels, lighting upgrades, interior/exterior paint, a front courtyard, a tankless water heater installation, garage storage/attic creation, fireplace upgrade, and relocation of washer/dryer.
I grew the scope so large because of trust, communication, and watching Alex & his team work of the course of 2 months.
They took amazing care of my home, as if it were their own. Without hesitation, I would call Cornejos Builders. The pricing is fair

Had a truly great experience with Alex.Cornejos builders just completed converting my crawlspace/basement into an ADU (studio with new bathroom and kitchen).
What made the experience even more valuable was that the owner himself (Alex) came over for a consultation. Other companies just send their sales reps and most of the time they don’t even know anything. Feeling important is always a positive I can’t wait to work with them again. I highly recommend them. You can tell Alex is passionate about what he does, his clients, and his company.
