Turner Long Construction was founded in 1939 by J.M. Turner Sr. as a small residential contractor. Conditions changed after World War II, and the company shifted its concentration to commercial and industrial construction. In the 1960's, the company diversified into highway and bridge construction as well as the construction of water and sewage treatment facilities.
While maintaining the capacity to perform such work, the company has, over the last decade, devoted its attention to high quality institutional, commercial, industrial and healthcare projects.
