My 6 year old son has been taking lessons with Jason for a little over 2 months, and his progress so far has exceeded my expectations.

In 2015, Jason Hart opened the Jason Hart Piano Studio in Tenafly New Jersey where he offered private piano lessons in his home studio. The studio offered private piano lessons in his home studio. Jason's unique teaching philosophy and standards of excellence were embraced by the community, and he soon found himself with more interested students than his schedule allowed.
There are a multitude of reasons why learning to read and play music can be beneficial for an individual. It improves academic skills, social skills, physical skills, and also has a positive association with self-esteem and discipline. At Hart Music Studios, our teachers offer our students an environment that fosters learning and creativity.
I have been teaching voice to students of all ages in the tri-state area for the last decade or so, and still feel that I myself am learning new things about this craft with each lesson that I give. I do my best to keep lessons engaging, interesting and challenging.
I like to focus on helping students establish their technique above all else, as this enables them to grow in confidence of their abilities and also sing more repertoire of their choice.When students first start out, we'll typically spend a good deal of time in lessons working on vocal exercises so that they may explore their instruments in new ways, in addition to building a shared vocabulary through which we may communicate.

The piano has 88 keys and 230 strings, which can create a lovely sound, but maybe a 4-string instrument is more your style? The ukulele is an excellent starting instrument for new students.
