I am first and foremost a follower of Christ, and base the way I operate Honey & Salt on my faith: everything I do is for the glory of God. I am married to a wonderful man named Rob and we have three young girls together: Charlotte, Lily-James, and Owen (I'm sure if you follow me on Instagram you've seen their shenanigans pop up on my stories).

My passion has always been for cake; this is a business I have been dreaming of and praying about for a decade. In 2009, at the age of 19, I decided to move cross-country to attend the world-renowned pastry arts program at L'Academie de Cuisine in Maryland. While there I trained under incredible French chefs in the art of classical pastry and learned the artistry, science, and methods of creating delicate and delicious pastries.
Services
The cakes made at Honey & Salt are different than the rest: they're bespoke, luxury cakes. What this means is that our cakes are not mass produced, they are carefully made by hand from batter to buttercream with the highest attention to detail. We take a limited number of orders per week which gives us time to focus solely on each cake and client that comes our way.
We use high quality ingredients, local when possible, and never freeze anything. You won't find any boxes of mix or pre-made fillings in our kitchen. We believe the taste is as important as the design and work extremely hard to perfect our recipes. Listed below are some of our favorite combinations, but we can always switch things up or create something special for you.
