Services
I-Tip is an individual extension system that does not use any heat, glue, sewing or braiding. It uses a small patented cylinder to crimp the extensions onto the natural hair. Everything is reusable and the hair should last over a year with maintenance every 4-6 weeks. Can Extensions be colored? Extensions can be toned to blend to desired toned but cannot have extreme color change or be lightened.
LH Salon is a brand new, state of the art salon located in the heart of Altoona. As a leader in the Des Moines area with Surface Hair, LH Salon dedicates itself to education, both in the salon and on location with the evolutionary Surface Team. We also have Core Team Training every month that is always FREE to LH Staff.

Overall unhappy with my experience at this salon. I felt like I was always being overcharged and most recently I was quoted $134 for a balayage (quoted higher in case extra color was necessary) and my total ended up being $186. When I questioned this I was told that it was because she used toner (since when is that not included in a balayage??) and extra, extra color. $50+ discrepancy and I had to call multiple times and email this salon in an effort to come to a solution and I do not feel like it was appropriately resolved.

I walked into this hair salon and the girl that greeted me so was friendly and polite! I told them I was here snd I’m from out of town but my hair extension got knocked loose and I wanted to see if someone would be able to reattach the loose piece. The girl took a look and said I’ll be right back. Pretty soon this other girl came around the corner said let me take a look and said come on back. She instantly helped me, reattached my extension and was so friendly, courteous and polite about it. I thanked her over and over for her help. If I lived closer I would be using this salon regularly!
