Based out of York, PA, MKUP The Beauty Studio offers soon-to-be newlyweds a variety of professional hair and makeup services. This skilled team consists of more than 15 licensed hair and makeup artists who are truly passionate about their craft. Maggie King, the founder of the company, believes that makeup should highlight and enhance your natural beauty.
From brow rehab to brow maintenance, you can trust MKUP brow artists will make you look your best. Our brow stylists received training from Kelley Baker, celebrity eyebrow artist. This is a service for someone just maintaining their shape to clean up/ trim unwanted hairs. Typically for returning clients who have already had a brow design appointment to determine their desired brow shape.
Lash ConsultationThis is recommended for NEW lashers or clients who already have lashes from another lash stylist. Demur Set1 hour. You're busy - we get that. In this speedier service, extensions are placed on every other lash to enhance your natural look. Up to 90 minutes. We recommend clients with blonde or light brown lashes select the Full Set instead.
1 hour 10 minutes. Unique to DMK Skin Revision, our enzyme treatments provide immediate results. Restore and rebalance your skin with our Signature Enzyme Facial or lift and tighten with our Complete Package and Muscle Banding Enzyme. Dermaplaning is a safe and highly effective exfoliating procedure.
Ageless BeautyFor women over 40. You'll learn how to choose the right foundation textures for aging skin; and how to properly apply concealer to look less tired, blush to look fresh and radiant, eyeshadow for an aging eye, and mascara for ageless beauty. I won a giveaway on instagram and let me tell you, this place does not disappoint!! I have never had anything done to my eyelashes or brows (outside of waxing years ago) so I didn’t really know what to expect. Maggie went through everything step by step and took the time to teach me how to shape and fill in my brows. Not to mention she is a super nice person and made everything a breeze. I got a lash lift and eyebrow lamination and wax. Everything came out natural looking and beautiful. I can’t recommend her enough!

Maggie and everyone at MKUP were amazing with me and my wedding! From scheduling the trial all the way up to the day they were just so accommodating and the MAKEUP WAS amazing!!! I just wanted to look like myself and I did! I dont normally wear alot of make up and Maggie gave me the most flawless natural look! My whole family and friends that also got make up rave about it to this day!!

I had the most amazing experience at MKUP. Maggie is incredible. I had my eyelashes lifted and tinted and my eyebrows laminated and tinted. Maggie is so professional and personable and she is truly skilled with the lashes and brows. I could not be more pleased with the way it turned out, I had no idea my brows could look this good and natural. Excellent value for the price. I will definitely be returning.

I called MKUP after having a not so great trial with another stylist, and I was slightly panicking because my wedding date was only a few months away. Luckily, they had some availability and were super responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. Tiffany did my hair and she did a wonderful job! We ended up tweaking the style a bit the day of and I couldn't have been happier with it. Tiffany is great and so calming to have around on your big day. Would definitely book with them again!!

Can't say enough great things about Maggie and the rest of the staff. I've been in for lash and tint, makeup and hair for specials occasions and a makeup class with Maggie. I thought I was pretty makeup savvy before but these ladies have taught me so many amazing tips and I always look and feel amazing every time I leave this place. York is lucky to have such a spot downtown!
