From serving as a special public defender to providing support as a referral attorney for a women's center, Attorney Chamberlain has gained valuable experience in both law and in life. He uses his knowledge every single day to help clients throughout Connecticut pursue the justice they deserve when facing a family law issue, criminal accusation, personal injury, or general legal matter.
Services
We are a general practice law firm that focuses on family, criminal, and personal injury matters. Founded in 1984, the firm was originally a branch office of a major national law firm. In 1993, it became The Law Office of Scott B. Chamberlain, P.C., serving the greater Danbury, Connecticut community, and Northern Fairfield County since.
SCOTT CHAMBERLAIN is a Connecticut native, who grew up in Stamford. After graduating from Ripowam H.S., he attended Lambuth College in Jackson, Tennessee, then Louisiana State University, leaving with a Bachelor's degree in General Studies. Following a year doing social work in the State of Louisiana, he was admitted to the Louisiana State University School of Law, from which he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree.
Facing divorce, and the subsequent issues it usually involves, can be one of life's most frightening and stressful experiences. Everything in your life-home, job, kids, money-is affected. You need answers, and you need them fast. But, more importantly, you need the right answers, answers that can get you custody, can keep you in your home, and that can get you alimony and child support.
These are the answers that your personal injury lawyer can provide. He can guide you through the process, protect you from the insurance companies, and make sure you get the compensation to which you and your family are entitled. To get the best results, you need a capable, experienced legal team, one that's handled lots of cases, one with years of experience.
Even if you still end up getting divorced, counseling can help you have an easier divorce, and help you parent your children. First, if you are experiencing violence or even the threat of violence, call the police IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise, you can apply for an Application for relief from abuse, which may get the abusive spouse removed from the home.
