Tried to sell a car at the auction. No one picks up.
Tried calling and hitting 1. I tell her just need some basic info, she tries to transfer me. I left message, waited 1 hour and called back. No one picks up, so I called again and hit 1 to speak with registration (dealer), I tell her the situation. She says "ok", and tells me to wait a second. I wait about 3 minutes, and she says "what did you need again?" I tell her again and she says, actually I'm in the middle of a sale and says to hold on. I hold on again, and about 4 minutes later get transferred yet again. That lady also does not pick up

Bel Air did a fantastic job handleing all aspects of the pandemic from being one of the first auctions to open up for dealer previewing cars and opening in lane bidding. Vehicles are generally always on the spot, clean and organized. Office personel are usually acessible and willing to take care of issues of any manner as compared to many other auctions. DEALERS BEWARE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS AUCTION!!
I bought a car from this auction through Manheim Simulcast (using proxy bid) advertised as engine starts/bad transmission. Somewhere along the lines the auction folks decided to take apart the car without changing the condition report. They pulled the transmission, transfer case, driveline, axles, half shaft, mounts, intake, maf sensor, etc.
I bid on a car that was completely assembled with a good running engine but a shot transmission, what I received off the truck was a car that was missing most of the drive terrain and engine is hanging

Went to my first auto auction. People were very nice and helpful that worked there. There were definitely no deals to be had and I ended up leaving without a car. I was shocked at how high the vehicles ended up going for. All 8 of the vehicles I was looking at ended up going over blue book value. The facility was relatively clean and I have nothing bad to say about the process. Overall not something I would recommend for anyone looking for a great deal. It just won't happen.
