I highly recommend John and his team - they are extremely good at what they do. They were incredibly professional and friendly. My backyard was riddled with trees - big and small - and they gave me several quotes and worked with me as I decided which trees to remove. They removed the trees and ground the stumps without causing any damage to the yard or property despite several of the trees being close to the house and fences. They took every expectation and exceeded it.

I have worked with Big Timber Tree Service many times grinding stump for them. The entire crew is very professional. They take pride in their work and are very knowledgeable tree experts. They take every effort to care for the customers property and do and great clean up when they are finished. I would not hesitate to hire or recommend them to do any and all tree work.

I've had two experiences with this company; both were excellent. In the summer of 2019 Big Timber took down a massive pin oak on my neighbor's property near the property line. Much of the canopy was over my back yard and several large limbs extended directly over my house. The company owner, John Hamel, handled the actual climbing tasks; he was assisted by 4 or 5 ground personnel. A crane was not used; my neighbor's yard and my yard served as the "drop zones". All this work was completed with only very minor damage to other trees & shrubbery. It was fascinating to watch John work high above my
